Monthly Rentals in Rockbridge

Great place for us to stay while working. I hate that it’s not available in November

This place was perfect for our quick 2-day trip - though we definitely could have stayed a couple more days. The cabin was very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. We met all the animals which was a highlight of our two high school aged daughters and their friend. Also played games inside the cabin. Had we stayed longer, we would have taken more time to relax and read on the porch overlooking a pasture. Melissa was very responsive to messages and made us feel right at home. The only suggestion for others staying would be to stock up on food items on your way to the cabin since you’ll much prefer to stay and enjoy the cabin and animals than travel back 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable and peaceful stay- one of our favorites!

The house was tucked away very quiet in the country. The house smelled a little musty but clean.

We have throughly enjoyed staying with Dara! We love the country life setting, that includes unplugging from all electronics when we were there with our teenagers, we loved it all! Our pup absolutely loved playing with their farm dogs that come over for visits. We enjoyed taking some walks down the farm country roads. The beautiful cattle that are there, just are stunning to see & witness. When we walked into the house for the first time, it felt like we were home. It's very homey, comfortable & a cozy farm house. We love the old wooden floors & having the windows all open throughout was lovely. Didn't need to put the a/c when we were there, plus by morning house was nice & cool, it stayed that way for many hours. Our outside temps were 80s when we were there but house was never hot with all the windows open, always a beautiful breeze coming inside. Meeting Dara & her husband was just awesome! They're really great people to get to know & that is a very rare find anymore.We'll be back!
