Yurt vacation rentals in River Thames

Hugo welcomed us to this beautiful and unique place. He was on the site throughout our stay and was always approachable and patient to answer our questions. He was friendly and helpful.

I loved staying at Haddon Acre - the yurt is set in beautiful surroundings with Wittenham Clumps a short walk away - really lovely to walk there for sunrise and sunset! Remote enough to have a break from the outside world, but close enough to all amenities and travel links to drive to Cotswold's & the Chilterns. Sue was kind enough to bake a cake & provide other breakfast items upon arrival, which I thought was a really nice touch! Haddon Acre will remain as one of my special stays - lovely relaxing energy around the landscape.

We visited during the weekend to attend Goodwood Festival of Speed. Really enjoyed just relaxing after the mayhem of the festival. The yurt itself is lovely, quaint and liveable for a weekend or longer should one choose. We were provided with logs for a fire in the stove and to light them outside. There's an on site facility to purchase bare essentials but there's also a shop nearby to purchase anything else. Would love to visit and stay again. Thanks

The yurt at bore place was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. Chris is an amazing host, very attentive and helpful. We had the best few days. The farm is beautiful, we loved watching the cows walk to and from the milking parlour everyday. The children had plenty to keep them occupied with the playground and all the nature we were surrounded by, the dog had the best time on the walking trails. The surrounding areas are very beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!

Very beautiful yurt, we were able to keep warm and cozy despite the cold weather thanks to the wood stove and heater. Nice location for walks and a trip to Hastings.

Myself, my husband and our two young boys had the most fabulous 2 night stay in the ‘oak’ yurt. The most beautiful surroundings. The boys loved exploring bluebell woods. Yurt was comfy and cosy, did get pretty chilly at night (we stayed early April) but soon got toasty with the help of the wood burner. Lovely walk in shower and clean toilet right next to the yurt. Was just perfect sitting out at night by the firepit toasting marshmallows and star-gazing. Would most definitely recommend, 5 🌟

Fantastic yurt in the heart of the countryside. If you want peace and tranquility then this is the place for you. Everything you need. Wonderful sleep. Wonderful stay.

We had the most amazing weekend and will definitely be returning! Every single detail had been thought about (like a BBQ bag in the BBQ) and the whole experience was stress free. Carl and Nicola were really helpful and gave us a great pub recommendation (thank you!). We honestly cannot fault the yurt - it's a complete paradise.

Very welcoming host. Louisa communicated challenges with the original site early on and enabled a pre visit to the new location which was very welcome. We had the whole site for the weekend and Louisa and Bev looked after us really well. Especially as one of our vehicles got stuck in the access lane and needed assistance - thank you for your kindness. The site was well laid out with good spacing between the pods and the showers, toilets and washing up area were discreetly placed - and with lovely hot water. I would thoroughly recommend.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience and extremely restorative. It was so peaceful, set in the most beautiful scenic spot. I loved sitting outside in the amazingly comfortable chairs listening and watching the birds play. As I stayed there for my 40th, I treated myself to a truly regenerative and healing 60 minute massage with Louisa. I highly recommend it. I also enjoyed the sauna, but sadly was not brave enough to try the plunge pool. My children loved the outdoor space they had there. I definitely recommend popping over to Woodfire for the most lush evening meals and breakfasts. Also to the Horsebox Cafe for amazing coffee and treats. I had a gorgeous restful two night stay at Emma and Jim's yurt. Emma met me as I arrived and was very friendly and took time to show me how everything worked so I could then just settle in. The yurt was sumptuously and beautifully furnished and decorated and perfectly thought through with practical yet elegant details. Loved the nifty washing up area attached to the little bathroom, the little fridge and two ring hob were perfect, the bed and sofa bed super comfortable and there were torches, hot water bottles and beautiful wood for the cosy woodburner. Travelling on my own I appreciated being able to lock the beautiful wooden door so felt quite safe. I loved sitting outside the yurt watching a red kite soar over or the stars come out across the wide open sky and there were lovely walks along the canal and to the reservoirs nearby with even more birdlife. I would have happily stayed longer. Thank you Emma and Jim

Beautiful location and accommodation, had all the features we were looking for and we loved having our log burner to keep us warm and hearing the horses in the morning. A bird of prey flew over our heads as we were eating our breakfast! Really eco-focused facilities, and very comfortable yurt and Shepherd’s hut. Owners resolved anything that came up during our stay.

Such a beautiful tranquil setting with gorgeous lovely yurts all hand crafted by the amazing Vidar. It is a place to truly escape and be in nature with the stream, woods and fields all in the immediate environs. The yurts with their wood burning stoves are super warm and comfortable. The site already has butterflies in April! It has incredible walks that can all be found direct from the site. Its super eco ethos will totally appeal to green energy and mindful earth friendly people in every way and we can’t wait to come back.

Booked it last minute and communication from the host was great. Yurt was fantastic, comfortable and clean. Site was lovely and very peaceful. we will be back and would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay with a young family of four and a dog. Yurt had everything we needed and was warm and cosy. Local area has some great pubs and beautiful walks. Very peaceful and relaxing.

A lovely weekend spent with family and friends at Louisa’s Bluebell Camp. It was a bit rainy the first night but the second night was beautiful with starry skies, we were lucky to spot a shooting star that night. The place is very easy to find if you use g00gle maps. It was our first time with compost toilets and took a while to get used to. Open air shower was a unique experience. We took a ride on the steam train at Horsted Keynes, the children enjoyed it.

Great place, really quiet and private. Had some trouble finding it but beau took the time to send someone to show us where the property was and it was extremely helpful. Will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic three night stay over the bank holiday weekend. We had three yurts and a big main one, which was great as we could store things and it came with a really big cool box. We had fires every night and a bbq provided, along with camp chairs, tables and benches. You can purchase kindling, charcoal and wood from the hosts. The campsite has hot showers, compost toilets and a washing up area. Just a heads up that there is no phone signal and no electricity but to be honest that was great for us as we just wanted to unwind. Definitely looking to come back again, made it so easy to camp as there wasn’t much we needed to actually bring! Beverley and Louisa were very approachable and helpful, can’t recommend this enough for large groups wanting to camp with minimal leg work needed!

Jon’s place was awesome! A much needed break and exactly what we were looking for in a down to earth, no fuss, hands on dog friendly trip! The space was great and Jon was super friendly - provided any info we needed - we will definitely be back 😊

Lovely place, very relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful setting and had everything we needed. Carla was very helpful when we messaged with questions, would definitely go back. Everything we needed to experience the great outdoors but with home comforts.
