The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

Situated 2 miles from the town centre and on two bus routes, this makes an ideal choice for two people passing through or staying longer. Summer 2025 as been amazing for wildlife sightings - red deer in the garden, squirrels, wild cat, badger, osprey flying overhead, red kite, family of buzzards in the woods and many many other birds.
