Monthly Rentals in Rio Gatun

Gamboa is perfect for anyone wanting to see the rainforest. Compared to the traffic and crowds in Panama City, Gamboa is very peaceful and beautiful. The house is half of a duplex built by the US to support the canal and has nice touches added by the owner. There is a path next door to walk to the ‘town’ center which is a small restaurant and a shop. Plenty of nature attractions near by. In the back yard we saw iguanas, neques, frogs, bats, monkeys and birds. There are avocados trees and plantains growing in the back yard too.

Everything is great ! 100% recommended. Super comfortable arrival, the place in a beautiful setting, all very comfortable.

My husband Curt and I Maya stayed at this airbnb for 3 weeks. What a beautiful place and host. Angela's place was a great one with a few minor things. Nothing to cry about. We live in Iowa, we listen to backing does, and yes, there are does there that back in Panama too. I read the review where someone mentioned it wasn't safe to walk outside afterdark. Well, we did, and though we were in a different country, we felt safe. On the hot and humid days we used Uber or cars. both worked out great. Angela's place has turtle, parakeits, hummingbirds, and lots of little lizard around the house and guesthouse that we stayed in, and to large Parrots. It's has a lovely garden area also a santuary for frogs, lizard, bird, and other critters. It's absolutely beautiful. The place has ac, stove/oven, fridge, smallmicrowave, coffee pot and all utensile foto cooking. Angela also put nice discesa inside for the guesthouse to use. My husband and I both had a great time there.

We spent a week at Jennifer's apartment and everything went well! The kitchen has several utensils and everything worked well (air-conditioning, hot shower, etc.). The building's pool is very large and clean. Jennifer was super nice to us, showing flexibility and willingness to help, which is very positive. The only point worth mentioning is that the building's facade needs maintenance, but this is beyond the host's control. Thank you!!
