Monthly Rentals in Richmond Downs

Our stay was made lovely by the warm reception when we arrived into the home (late night, freezing outside) & the heat pump was on. In the fridge, 6 cans of sprite & the house is fully equipped. Little touches like this makes the world of difference. The home was sparkling & clean and we had full access to the washing machine & dryer. Alex was very attentive, prompt answering questions and fully flexible. 110% recommend staying here.

Beautiful views and comfy place to stay! Colleen and Tony were both very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, you feel like you are in the shire, and it's close to Hobbiton! It was perfect for our visit to Hobbiton, very authentic.

We had the most amazing time staying at Krystie's place. The location is simply stunning, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. However, shops and restaurants are only a short drive away. It's also in the perfect place for visiting the Hobbiton movie set, which was our primary reason for coming to the area. The farm animals are also great. My kids were delighted to get to feed the pig and the chickens (and I won't lie, I enjoyed it too!). We were lucky the first night and got a clear sky so we could do some stargazing - it was fantastic to be able to show my city kids the Milky Way for the first time. Our second night, it rained a lot, but we were warm and cosy inside the house and listening to the rain was relaxing and peaceful. The house itself is lovely. It's very spacious, the beds are super comfy and the kitchen has every piece of equipment you could possibly need. We felt right at home. Highly recommended- my only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

The Little Lodge was perfect for what we needed as exhibitors at the NZ Field days. The place was fully outfitted with everything we needed and was very clean. Juliet was a great host who responded quickly to questions about directions and a very small problem we had with the internet when we arrived.
