Vacation rentals with a sauna in Rethymno

I was very pleased that the host greeted me personally at the entrance to the town and showed me the apartment and explained everything in detail. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, had all the amenities (as in the photos), the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is very beautiful and clean, the bedding is fresh and fragrant, as are the towels. Very comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms. And of course the hot tube where you can relax and unwind in the evening. Nearby there is a small shop and a pastry shop and taverns with very good food. I highly recommend this apartment and the hosts. An ideal place to visit both the north and the south of the island.

Samonas Villages is an absolutely gorgeous place! Photos, as spectacular as they already are, still don’t give it justice! Konstantinos is easily one of the best hosts we have ever had, and was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay.

During my stay at Plethora Luxury Suites, I was impressed by the attention and availability of Dionysis, the owner. They personally make sure every detail of your stay goes smoothly. Her team, made up of Poya and Penni, is simply exceptional. Always smiling and ready to do a favor, they bring a warm and professional touch. The villa itself is a haven of peace, with a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea. In-room breakfast, private pool, and amazing modern decor add a real sense of luxury to the experience. On the amenities side, hammam, air conditioning, wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, the list would be too long to describe! If you are looking for a place where we take care of you, while offering you a sumptuous setting, Plethora is a must-see destination.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, attention to detail, and warm hospitality. The villa was beautifully designed, fully equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Every corner of the space felt thoughtfully to provide luxury and relaxation. The outdoor area was a dream,we spent our days lounging by the private pool, enjoying the stunning sea view. Katerina was an amazing host and always available to help with anything we needed, from restaurant recommendations to arranging a massage at the villa. The location was perfect: peaceful and private,yet close enough to the charming village and beaches for exploring. This was truly one of the most memorable holidays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return , highly recommend SKPlace to anyone seeking a luxury escape in Crete!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay! The property is beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful touches, and the views are absolutely stunning – perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We appreciated extras like insect repellents and pool towels, which made a big difference. Breakfast was included, which was a lovely surprise, but it would help to mention this more clearly in the listing, along with clearer info about check-in and check-out. That’s my only recommendation for improvement. The only downside was a misunderstanding on our last night – a friend stayed over unexpectedly due to it being late and drinking. At check-out, the situation was handled a bit abruptly; we were happy to pay extra but felt it could’ve been addressed more kindly. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended for a calm and scenic escape!

A fantastic accomodation with an equally fantastic host. The listing was exactly what was shown. Stelios was very helpful with any queries we had and gave us many excellent recommendations on places to visit during our stay. I would highly recommend this listing and if ever I was back in Crete, would definitely stay there again.

We have just returned from a week in Villa Majo. We took our whole family for a big celebration week, there were 12 of us in total ranging in age from 73 to 7. The villa was wonderful, so clean and modern. Loads of bathrooms and beautiful bedrooms with pristine bed linen and towels. The views of the Med were to die for and lots of relaxing spaces both sunny and shady to choose from. It is elevated from local beaches but it takes 5 minutes by car to get down to the shore where there are loads of great restaurants and bars to enjoy. The pool at the villa is an infinity pool which was immensely popular with all ages and there was a fabulous gym and sauna which suited of our tribe down to the ground. Loads of beach and gym towels were provided which was a great help. I have to say that the star of the show was Rena who discreetly looked after us all week. She was always on hand to help out with and little requests we had and is an absolute gem. Thank you Rena you are a superstar xx
