Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Rethymno

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous villa. From the moment we met Stefanos and his parents at their nearby taverna to say hello and get the keys, we knew it would be a great vacation. We were welcomed with cold drinks and plates of delicious food. Stefanos personally took us to the villa, showed us around and answered all our questions. There was a beautiful food basket (vegetables, fruit, olive oil, and other Crete delights) waiting for us as a further welcome. The villa itself is even more gorgeous than in the photos. It is beautifully appointed and each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bath so it was perfect for the couples staying there. The view is stunning - looking out over olive groves and farm land with the sea in the distance. We found fantastic beaches nearby, groceries and great tavernas in local villages. We also enjoyed some swims in the pool at the villa. All in all, a wonderful stay and a huge thanks to Stefanos and his family for so warmly welcoming us!

The house is in a great location, very clean and functional, close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach. Michael is very friendly and always responded to our questions. In conclusion, I can say we made the right choice by renting the house.

George was an incredible host. So responsive and lovely to work with. The apartment is also lovely. Our only “complaint” was that it was not seafront or safe to walk to the beach. Thankfully we had rented a car so we were able to get around.

I already miss this house. It’s like a fairytale cottage. So many cute little spaces indoors and out. Character and charm! It’s old with stone steps and some low doorways, so don’t be clumsy. Our hosts were hospitable and kind. We felt right at home. There are many flowers, herbs and trees. Unforgettable.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is spacious and convenient with all the amenities. Located in a quiet area, with a beautiful sea view. Small mention for Bruno, the owner's dog, who is adorable. We'll be happy to go back!

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a lovely week in Rethymno. Ilse was super helpful and the property was perfect for exploring the old town whilst being in a great place to get to the beach.

The photos do not do this beautiful place justice. The flowers and greens are so bright, and you have a view of mountains and the sea. Tina is incredibly kind and accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. She sent me home with some wonderful herbs from her garden - they smell amazing! She also treated me to some homemade Cretan cake she baked at the start of my trip. As a solo traveller, this was incredibly special and I am so grateful to her. Driving around the area is fantastic with so many beaches and hikes in the surrounding area. The space is very clean and comfortable! I hope to one day return.

Very nice spacious apartment, clean and lots of amenities, with a large balcony and parking. It is in a very good location, facing the sea, and a 10-minute walk from the old town. Convenience store and restaurant within a 5-minute walk. There are several small, very peaceful beaches to the east and west, 5 minutes away. In short, everything for a successful stay.

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

Lovely spot right next to the water! Great layout and it was a dream to wake up to the sounds of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Would love to come back and stay at 7 Olives again. Each apartment has a stunning view from their balcony. All the guests were quiet and respectful. Two super comfy pillows for each of us which we didn’t find anywhere else on our trip to Europe. The mattress was also very comfortable. And Alex was by far my favorite Greek kitty we met.

Everything was perfect, we met Nikolaos’ wife and she was so kind and helpful. They were both really nice and thoughtful. The location is perfect and it was really clean. We really enjoyed our time there. I totally recommend!!!

It was an incredible time at Georgios, the accommodation was as described. Not even a 1 minute walk to the beach. For me personally, the kitchen was superbly equipped, rarely experienced. It was very clean and Georgios was always available and gave us helpful tips for the area as well as for eating. Every recommendation was really very good. I'd come back any time. What was a personal highlight for us was that we could see & hear the sea from the bed, that was incredible. The apartment is in very good condition and very clean. It was a wonderful stay! The apartment is completely new, modern and beautifully decorated. The hosts are a kind young couple who are extremely hospitable and professional. Starting with care before arrival, through a tour of the apartment, numerous recommendations about Rethymno, refreshments with cake, honey and other food, and finally fulfilling a special request. The location is fantastic, a few steps to everything. Thank you! I will be back.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

We had an exceptional stay at Tasos's. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos, with breathtaking sea views. The private jacuzzi is a real plus, offering incomparable moments of relaxation. The apartment is perfectly equipped, everything is thought of for your comfort. In addition, you are within 10 minutes' walk of Agia Beach and the best restaurants in the area, ideal for enjoying the area. Tasos is a very attentive and responsive host, who does everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. You can book without so much so so, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Don't forget to feed the little cat in the residence, it's absolutely adorable. 😉

Do not think twice- just book :)! We had an amazimg time in Valentyna's place! The place is not huge, but all you need and more! We could not believe how stylish and cozy the apartment is! And the cleanlines.. wow! The place is spotless! And I mean SPOTLESS- we travel a lot, but never saw that clean place like Valentina's! The apartment is around 15 min away from the old town, just a few steps from the beach (just across the road). Very privat with a small balcony, quiet, good access to restaurants and shops. Stavros explained us everything during the check in and Valentyna came to see us during our stay. They welcomed us with sweets and bottlw of wine, and said goodbye getting us some lovely souvenirs- really nice touch (thank you!). Thank you for a lovely stay, we both wont hesitate to recommend your place or stay again in the future! J&A.

Our stay in Chania was wonderful. The apartment is very spacious and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Ioanna was very accessible and friendly.

We loved our stay here! It is in a great location. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants and shops. It also has an incredible view of the harbor from the balcony. The host made sure the property was very clean, provided some welcome gifts, and responded promptly when we locked ourselves out on accident! Would gladly stay here again!

We had a great time at Nikos' place. The view is incredible, you want to spend your days on the balcony! The bedding is comfortable, and there is everything available for a very nice stay. Nikos was very welcoming and discreet, he recommended a place to park easily and reach the center of Chania on foot, which was very convenient! In short, we really enjoyed our vacation at this place and recommend it 100%. Thank you Nikos!

Close to the beach. Parking available. Apartment has everything you might need. Helpful host. Everything within walking distance, car is only needed for day trips. Nice toys for the kids. The only downside is that it is located next to a busy road with the necessary noise.
