Pasel House Built in 1892

Stay in a picturesque Victorian farm house sitting on three rolling acres in the middle of nowhere, but only a 3 minute drive from the nearest Walmart and other amenities. Mature hardwood trees in the yard and a house built in 1892 with much of its original woodwork intact. Enjoy a night sky mostly unpolluted by urban lights and a comfortable stay in 3 air conditioned bedrooms. There is always a camp fire built and a place for social gathering in the back yard. Come enjoy a piece of history.

Our space is in a small but fantastic town, perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. Rensselaer's unique art scene is renowned; check out over two dozen murals that grace our revitalized downtown. Play disc golf at Brookside Park-we have discs for guests' use! Our listing fee is what it is-no separate "cleaning fee." We'll always leave you with homebaked goodies, & make sure there are farm fresh eggs in the fridge. This is a lovely private guest house in the woods along a stream Main bedroom has queen bed. Loft has 2 twins. Full private bath with large step in shower. The lighted screened porch and open deck sit above the west creek near the banks of the Middlefork River -- enjoy nature at its midwestern best. This home is surrounded by oaks, maples, and walnut trees, so the birds are all around, along with other wildlife. Down the hill is the Middlefork, designated as a "National Scenic River".

As you enter thru the French doors you will be greeted by an open concept room decorated with a barn/industrial motif.
