Monthly Rentals in Remerton

We spent six nights at Mary's house and found that it met all of our needs. The neighborhood is quiet and was perfectly for my early morning runs. I felt completely safe running there just after dawn. The house had everything we needed, especially a well-equipped kitchen! For those traveling with dogs, we found that it worked out well for us for that. We have two German Shepherds, and there was plenty of room for them to run in the backyard, and plenty of space on the living room and bedroom floors for their beds. I'm 5'6" and the fence is over my head. If you have a smaller dog, rest assured that the fence is practically air-tight. (When our Chihuahua was alive, I was always careful about that, and I would have felt fine with her in this yard.) There is no door directly from the house to the backyard; you go out from the kitchen to the carport, then to a gate into the backyard. So depending on your dog, you might need a leash and a human companion for each trip to/from the yard.

Great location! Perfect for a quick weekend stay. The space was perfectly clean and much roomier than anticipated.

The Sherwood House was the exact definition of a “home away from home.” What stood out the most was how thoughtfully prepared the home was for a large family with a toddler. Michelle went above and beyond — from covered outlets for safety to a fully stocked kitchen and houseware essentials. Everything we needed was already there, and then some. The beds were surprisingly comfy, there were plenty of USB plugs for all our devices, and Michelle even provided two helpful notebooks — one filled with menus from local restaurants and another with clear, easy-to-follow instructions for navigating everything in the house. I also found it very kind of Michelle to contact me well before our check-in time to offer early entry since the house was already ready for us — such a thoughtful and generous gesture that set the tone for a great stay. It’s clear Michelle cares deeply about her guests’ experience. We felt completely comfortable and cared for, and would absolutely stay again!

We’ve stayed here twice now in the last month, it’s close to anything and everything. House is clean when you walk in, it feels like a home. An enjoyable stay. Will do it again, and recommend others as well.
