A peaceful place close to the forest and the beach but only 10 minutes by car from Sunne. 15-minute drive to Sunne Ski & Bike or 1 hour to the larger resort Hovfjället for those who like winter activities. The lake is shallow, so if the weather is right, it is a good lake for ice skating, but this is for each person to ensure for themselves. For those interested in culture, there is nice Alma Löv 20 minutes' drive away and Selma Lagerlöfs Mårbacka on the other side of the mountain.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Welcome to our cosy guest house on the small farm "Fågeldalen" in Bäck! This exceptionally quiet cottage has been renovated with a lot of love, time and care. Due to the use of mainly local, recycled and natural materials, there are many unique details to discover. The forge at Humletorp Farm

Smedjan is a beautiful, private house for two, originally the smithy of the farm. Look out across the lake when taking breakfast, whether looking through a green field at blue water, or across a white landscape to a frozen wonderland. Smedjan has enough plates, cutlery; pots and pans, for 2 people. Tea and coffee, coffee machine and kettle are also available. Fjäll

Charming and cozy country house, where you can live all year round. An idyllic place where you can relax, close to forest, lakes, nature reserves and fantastic chanterelle places. The house has a large porch and nice plot that extends around the house and into the Värmland forest. A short bike ride away you will find a grocery store, pizza place and gas station (about 3 km). If you want to experience the Värmland idyll and mysterious forests, you found the right place.

Beautiful, quiet, spacious house in a very quiet location surrounded by woods and a stream. The house is fully equipped. Heating takes place using a stove and a wood stove. Wood included. Various walking options from the house and swimming and fishing water nearby. On our property we have a large vegetable garden, goats, chickens, ducks and a dog.
