it's my second time staying at melo pomelo, and this time I've stayed for roughly a month! the house is nicely located between thamel and durbar square, both within walking distance (but without all the noise and busy as the house is inside an alley). Amir and Raggi are always helpful and thoughtful, making my stay feel like home! highly recommended for anyone planning to stay in Kathamandu and wish to immersive yourself in the culture ❤️

So happy we decided to stay here with all the choices available! This family is absolutely wonderful, all of them and Madhu is an angel. Very peaceful area away from the craziness that is Thamel. But you can easily get a car there for walk if you want, which we did a few times. My toddler and I spent a month there and we had such a wonderful stay. We feel like we have a family in Kathmandu that we want to come visit. Loved the spaciousness of the space and the view from the roof is beautiful. The WiFi was soooo good honestly probably the best we had in all the places we traveled in Asia. It’s super duper clean and you can tell they keep it that way always. We just had such a great month and are so appreciative of this beautiful family and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much!!

Raju’s place is a good accommodation, feels like home and the area is quiet and peaceful.

It was a great pleasure to meet Naoko and her family. Before my stay, Naoko thoughtfully sent me a detailed guide introducing the nearby places, which was incredibly helpful. During my stay, whenever I had any questions, she responded promptly and kindly. Every morning, opening the window to see the beautiful scenery was truly healing. The house assistant also did a wonderful job with the cleaning — she even found an earring I had lost for several days! The spotless fans must have taken a lot of effort to clean as well. Everything was just amazing ^ω^. I look forward to meeting 風の家 again next time.
