Raithal is a small, fairy-like village located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The cottage is located at 2250msl and has absolutely stunning views of the Himalayas range. The food eaten here is locally grown. Raithal is known for Dayara Bugyal, located at 3408m. It is an 8.5 km scenic trek all the way to the top. The cottage is in midst of greenery and guests would need to climb up a hill for 400 m that may take 10 to 15 mins. pl reserve only if you are comfortable with this pls

Our home offers a panoramic view of the entire Harsil Valley and the Bhagirathi river. Harsil is 25 km (1 hour) before 'Gangotri', making it the perfect layover spot before you begin your religious pilgrimage to the Gangotri temple. Our homestay is 2 km from Bhagori, a Tibetan colony. The Red House in Raithal village (2250 mtrs altitude), Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand on the way to Dayara Bugyal Trek. Raithal village is popular among seasoned trekkers as it's the base camp to Dayara Bugyal. The cottage offers an absolutely breath-taking views of the Himalayan ranges, green meadows and biodiversity (as you can clearly make out from the pictures).The guests need to climb up a hill for 400 m from village centre.

I had a great time at Oakwood Homestay. Suman, the host, is super gracious. The place has an amazing view and is prefect for a family or a bigger group. We were served simple food which we loved. There are multiple treks nearby which you will thoroughly enjoy.

A cozy balcony area features a comfortable seating arrangement with a colorful sofa and a wooden table. A large mural depicting mountains and greenery adorns the wall. The space is bathed in natural light, complemented by potted plants and views of the surrounding landscape.

A small yet fantastic stay in Agora, Dodital. Preveen's Homestay is an awesome cosy little home away from home in the quiant little village of Agora, Dodital. I liked his arrangements, room and the general location of the place. The homestay has got surreal views in front of it! lush green forest, superb waterfall upfront and high mountains that will catch your eyes for sure. He also runs a Trek Operating Company and helped our group throughly in Planning and completing the dodital-darwa trek. He also took us to his 500-600 years old house where he showed us how food in those villages is prepared. The whole experience provided by him was fantastic. I can totally recommend him to friends & family. You should book your stay with him, if you are planning to visit. Thank You Preveen. Best of Luck.

Our recent stay at the Attic room in Dharali was a fantastic experience. The attic is charming and cozy, blending traditional garhwal design with modern comforts. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the Bhagirathi River. The hosts Stuti & Meenakshi were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Alam bhaiya’s home-cooked meals were delicious, adding to the homely feel of the stay. There are plenty of activities nearby, including hiking and exploring the scenic surroundings. Overall, the attic stay is a perfect retreat for nature lovers seeking unique stay experiences along with comfort.
