Functional accommodation located 10' from the center of Siena in a peaceful property Good welcome by Lorena and her son Maximiliano who even offered to accompany us to the city center the next day Ideally located to discover the surrounding villages of this beautiful Tuscany The apartment is properly equipped despite some practical shortcomings (microwave, hairdryer, bed a little low for a couple in their seventies) We recommend this property and send a friendly greeting again to the whole host family.

Such a beautiful location, such a beautiful home. The views from inside the house and outside on the patios and in the yard were quintessential Tuscany, gorgeous beyond belief. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and flatware and pots and pans. The furnishings were tasteful and plentiful. We were a group of four women. One of us slept upstairs in the area just off the front door. Just a note: one of our party did not do stairs very well, and just so you know, all of the bedrooms on the lower level have doors that open onto the patio area, which is right next to the driveway. So after the first day, when we figured all that out, she was able to reduce the number of stairs she had to climb to a minimum. She would climb up to the kitchen and the living room area when we were gathering, but there was a bathroom and shower on the main level and whenever we went out to the car, she just came out that way, & one of the others of us would lock the door and run upstairs to leave.

Matteo was very friendly and helpful. The castle is a Tuscan jewel and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Parking was easy to use but if you have a soft top car bring something to cover it as there are lots of cats. (Matteo’s sister kindly provided us with a blanket). The little courtyard was just perfect to eat outside and the kitchen well equipped. Thank you Matteo.

Excellent accommodation, clean, modern, quiet, safe and well equipped for a vacation stay. Very good location for visiting Siena and the medieval villages of Tuscany.
