Hicks Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in the Wakatipu Basin. It dates back to the 1870s and was beautifully restored in 2022. The kitchen has been updated with high end amenities and has everything you will need to make a gorgeous dinner at home. E bikes are located on the property for hire. A great way to explore the area. A roll away bed can be provided for a 3rd guest. We are located 15 minutes from Queenstown, 10 minutes from Arrowtown, and 8 minutes to the Queenstown Airport.

With landmarks such as the iconic Judge and Jury rocks, the historic Kawarau Bridge and Chard Farm we are surrounded by a depth of Central Otago history. The Queenstown Trail network runs right past the front door, connecting you to the Gibbston Valley and Two Rivers trails, giving endless options to enjoy the splendour the region produces.

Located on the edge of the Crown Terrace overlooking the whole Wakatipu Basin. Amazing views better than the adjacent lookout point, looking down to Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, and right through to Queenstown. Relax and enjoy our large rural property with vineyard & our wine made onsite.
