Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Province of Massa and Carrara

We spent 4 days with family in Rafaella's house. It was his daughter, Chiara, who was in contact with us before, during and after our stay. Chiara was extraordinarily kind and caring. She patiently guided us on our journey so that we could enjoy the beauties of Tuscany. Attentive and responsive, Chiara was much more than just a contact, she brightened our stay and it is largely thanks to her that it was so pleasant. The villagers are charming and polite and you can get a few groceries in the village grocery store (run by a cousin of Rafaella) The only difficulty we faced was the language barrier. But with a little French, a little Spanish, a few words of Italian and gestures, you can still make yourself understood. Casa di Bruna is ideally located for different excursions (Cinq Terres, Pisa, La Spezia, etc.) We recommend this property. Chris

The week at Severino and Enrica was very relaxing for us. The house is remote and surrounded by forest. You have to experience the atmosphere, it's just unique. We were just happy to spend time in the house and outside in the huge garden. It is made with so much love and built by Severino himself and you can tell throughout. However, you absolutely need a car. Otherwise, don't hesitate to book it. It's worth it. Severino and Enrica are kind-hearted people and we are very grateful to have met them. Our family vacation (4 people) in this place was an absolute dream and in reality much more impressive than in the photos. The entire property is immaculately clean and exudes a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. For our children and us, the pool in front of the breathtaking mountain scenery was the daily highlight – a perfect place to unwind and enjoy. The location is fantastic to escape the ordinary and be active at the same time. We explored the area on several beautiful hiking tours. But what really makes the stay special are the hosts: Chris and Joanna are incredibly warm and helpful. Their hospitality is exceptional. We highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Maria Grazia's! The place is so beautiful and the view is stunning. It's very peaceful and you sleep very well there. Maria Grazia is very attentive and responsive. We were perfectly welcomed. The garden is nice for everyone, including our dog. We really liked the outdoor pizza oven! The location is both quiet and close to Lerici on foot. Lerici and the surrounding villages have nothing to envy from the Cinque Terre as they are beautiful and away from the crowds ;) We would totally recommend this listing.

We loved Luca’s place. It’s a spacious apartment with an amazing view on the sea. And we loved Corniglia, it’s the most quiet place in Cinque Terre and is perfectly located to go hiking around. It also has what we thought was the best rocky spot for bathing and swimming (and it’s just a few steps from the apartment!). Luca is a nice host and has given us great recommendations (the bar/restaurant on the way to the sea is a must!). We are still dreaming about our week there…will definitely come back!

The place is beautiful and much better than photos! There is so much space in the villa. It’s beautifully decorated, has everything you need for your stay. The surroundings are fab! The idea of shared spaces is very nice. While its up in the mountains, we didnt find it difficult getting out and about everyday. But you have to have your own transport (would not recommend without a car/bike) It was easy to park. Easy to get in and with hosts being there everyday we felt like if we needed something we could always ask. Its a very grand stay and we would definitely be looking to return. Shower room is modern along with modern kitchen, and the bedrooms with living space while having old style features are practical and well thought out. Us and our pets had a lovely time at the villa 💛

Very clean, spacious, functional accommodation with magnificent views. The pool is superb in hot weather and helps avoid the crowds of the beaches. The exteriors allow you to enjoy the evenings and the view. We will be happy to return.

This Airbnb is beautifully located in the Tuscan mountains, with an incredible view from the beautiful garden. The apartment was perfectly clean and very spacious, and furnished in a classic Italian style. The kitchen had all amenities needed, and even some supplies for our first breakfast! Lucia was very kind and super flexible with our late arrival, gave great tips for the area - all in all, the perfect hostess. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

You open the gate to the property and think you've landed in paradise. We spent a fantastic two weeks in this dream house. The view of the bay and the village are amazing. The pool is huge and everything was well maintained. Valentina & Jacopo are very warm hosts with great tips who take great care of their guests. They came by often and cleaned the pool, mowed the lawn, etc. The house is super nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable there. The only thing I would have found great would be fly screens, so you can open the windows at night without being bitten, but that's really all. So, complaining at a very high level ;). The village of Monte Marcello is super nice and idyllically located, with a great view. From there we made excursions to Pisa, Florence, Lerici, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, etc. To sum it up: It was a dream!!!

Excellent accommodation close to everything on foot. The train station is less than 5 minutes away. Ideal for village visits. Fabio took a lot of time to give us tips to discover the area

Manfredo and Nilla are very kind and helpful. Upon request, they will give you the best advice on restaurants and travel. They are also very helpful. The garden is simply a dream and the apartment is also very beautiful. The pool is very clean. We'll be back! Best regards.

Franca is an exceptional hostess. Very smiling and welcoming. The house was spotless. All the amenities mentioned were there. The place is well located for visiting Cinque Terre, La Spezia and Lerici. We recommend it more than 100%.

Delightful, well equipped, comfortable and really quiet. It’s a real getaway but not too far from some lovely beaches and villages; a car is a must. Do note that there is no aircon, but the fan supplied was adequate for us. Our host, Elizabetta was extremely helpful.

The stay at Alessandro and Diego's was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space offered,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 min. by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 min. … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Thanks for a great stay!

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

wonderful villa with a very impressive panoramic view over the surrounding hills with the beautiful peaks of Alpi apuane in the background. the house and surrounding terrain is big, plenty of space. lots of birds singing around the house. we did a lot of hiking around in Lunigiana which feels a bit like a well-kept secret (beautiful but not many tourists). we liked Fivizzano, but basically every little village is quite pretty here.

We had a lovely time in Montignoso! The house is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by a gorgeous garden of flowers and fruit trees, it truly felt like we were a part of the Tuscan landscape. Cesare is a warm and friendly host and the whole family made us feel welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Gilda is a great, very warm host. To welcome us, there was homemade jam, cake and a large fruit basket. The homemade bread was especially delicious. The farewell was sweetened again with jam and homemade limoncello. The apartment is very well maintained and clean. The view over Massa to the sea was great. We felt welcome and comfortable right from the beginning. Thanks for the great place 🙂

This Villa was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in as part of our family vacation to Italy. We are a group of 9, including 1 baby and 2 small children, and the Villa was perfect for our stay. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the pool and the patio was perfect for our Chef prepared dinner. Thomas and Enrico were amazing hosts and super responsive to any questions. The Villa is walkable to the Towne Center, train station, and grocery store. We HIGHLY recommend the Villa and hope to be able to return someday.
