Eco-friendly tiny house, wild camping in Salento

StefanoRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We don't know if another world is possible, certainly a different tourism, responsible and respectful of the environment in which we live. The small oasis of peace built by Stefania and her partner in the heart of Salento is the demonstration. Recommended for those looking for a relaxing parenthesis in contact with nature, strongly discouraged to the people of the "all inclusive" bracelets. We had a great time.

Casetta Paradiso

We had an amazing stay with Stefano! He was incredibly responsive and answered all our questions promptly. He also provided clear and helpful guides to local supermarkets, restaurants, and attractions, which made exploring Otranto so easy. Stefano went above and beyond—he was kind enough to pick us up and bring us to the house when we arrived, and even offered us a ride back to the train station at the end of our stay. Such a generous and thoughtful host! The home was just as described—if not better. Only a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach and about 15 minutes to the city center, the location was perfect. It was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved our stay, and if we ever come back to Otranto, Stefano’s place will be the first one we check for availability. Highly recommended! Grazie mille Stefano

Characteristic Trullo Salentino with a pool

JoanRating, 5 stars36 months ago
If you are looking for a place to disconnect, different, romantic and special do not hesitate to come to Silvia's trullo. From the first moment, both her family and friends and her have been attentive at all times giving information about the area. The trullo is small but has everything, kitchen, bathroom with shower and outside you have an ideal patio with barbecue for dinner or a drink under the clear sky of Salento. On the other side you have a mini pool next to a hammock area for sunbathing and always surrounded by olive trees in a quiet area. It's close to Gallipoli and the best beaches in the south. In short, a highly recommended experience to spend a few days and disconnect from the world!
A prefab structure is framed by two unique, gnarled trees, providing a natural setting. A shaded area with stone pillars and a picnic table is situated in front, alongside a sandy outdoor space dotted with greenery.

Tiny house on wheels among olive trees - Relax & Nature

MassimilianoRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We booked in the second half of August. The house was clean and equipped with everything you need (both kitchen side and bathroom side, which is not a given), plus not having to bring bed linens, hairdryer and towels is a nice advantage. The location is great, 10-15 min. drive from major attractions (beaches, cities to visit, restaurants and clubs). The property is very well maintained, everything very clean and tidy, the host's parents, who have their home in the same property, are very nice and helpful, they offered us fresh fruit from their garden and helped us with a problem we had in the second part of the vacation with the air conditioner. Fortunately, the weather helped us with milder temperatures on those days. In any case, the stay was pleasant.

Studio Pat in Farmhouse Garden Aiarella

AlfonsoRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Owner Flavia welcomed us in person at check-in and was a great person. She recommended places and restaurants to visit with a pdf guide! The very "zen" apartment matched the photos, even more beautiful in real life and the convenience was the proximity to Lecce (just a 15-minute drive). I appreciated that the car could be parked inside the property, being so quieter. It is a great point to visit all the wonderful beaches of Salento both on the Adriatic but also Ionian side. We thank Mrs. Flavia again and we will definitely return if we decide to return to Salento.
A vibrant mural displays a coastal scene with turquoise waters and a distant boat, framed by a rocky landscape. Lush greenery and colorful flowers enhance the serene view, while a tree adds natural contrast to the artwork, inviting relaxation and appreciation of the surroundings.

Oltremare - GREEN Room

ValeriaRating, 5 stars58 months ago
We had a great time at Concetta's She is very kind and the room was very clean. Great location, very close to the sea and convenient for parking. You can have breakfast outside in the garden and there is a kitchen and a laundry room available to everyone. We had a great time! The only flaw: We took a cold shower every day because there were issues with the boiler/autoclave. Otherwise great.
A bright terrace area features natural wood beams overhead and decorated walls. Two tables with chairs provide seating options. A comfortable rattan chair with a cushion sits alongside a small decorative table. Light fills the space through glass doors, enhancing the inviting ambiance.
