Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Portugal

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the time of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with the positive, with details thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Definitely an experience to repeat.

Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, no doubt we will try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and a child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a plus that is very much appreciated.

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

We absolutely loved this house! Beatriz provided us with a lot of useful information about the area and about Pico. She was also very generous in providing us with Azorean food. The apartment had plenty of everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were very flexible in our case. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden, the sea and Sao Jorge island. In the surroundings there are pools, bars, restaurants, a museum and hiking trails that can easily be accessed without a car (though we strongly recommend one for discovering Pico).

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

Loved our stay at Claudia’s apartment. The area was super clean and exactly as seen in the photos. The area is in a great location right at the centre of all the action but up a very clam side street meaning we had no noise issues at night. Would highly recommended this apartment. We also organised a transfer through Claudia which was so handy!

We really enjoyed staying in Sousas apartment. Nice and clean. Big bedroom and bathroom with a super nice shower. Everything was new and the elevator right into the apartment was a nice feature. We liked the neighbourhood with supercool restaurants close by and most sights in easy walking distance. Thank you for hosting us.

Paula was very accommodating. She was already at the door when we arrived and explained everything to us. The apartment is spacious and furnished with everything important. The kitchen is bright and large. We were very happy with the washing machine. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer.

Our stay with Artur in the Sun and Castleview Apartment was nothing short of wonderful. Artur and his parents were welcoming, friendly, and had clear communication. The apartment was clean and easy to access many Lisboa sites and neighborhoods. You do need to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment but that didn’t bother us. The view and accommodations are well worth the steps. The personal welcome from Artur’s family, wine, pastries, orange juice (for our underage child), and coffee made us feel welcome and right at home. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Beautiful views and comfortable stay!

Very good and functional apartment a few minutes from the center of Nazaré. Very clean and very good communication with Anabela. Thank you so much for your hospitality. It was a pleasure.

We were fortunate enough to meet Filomena who was very hospitable. Spacious and extremely well-equipped apartment with a great view of Funchal and a beautiful garden 🤩 There's even air conditioning if needed, which we didn't use. To easily get to Funchal, there is a bus 100 m away that takes us there in 30 minutes for 2 euros. There was always room to park on the street in front of the accommodation. The price does not include the tourist tax, the price of which per person for 7 nights is 14 euros. Of course, we would recommend this place.

Celia was a wonderful host and the cabin in a great condition, spacious and clean. The dogs and the horse that came by sometimes was the cherry on top. I would recommend to take earplugs if you are a light sleeper because of the nearby road. We really enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend Celias house.

Very pleasant space, with a privileged view of the mountains, a very quiet place ideal for a weekend of rest and to escape the routine. Very clean cabin with everything you need for a weekend.

We had such a lovely stay here! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and the stay is even better than the photos. We played tennis, minigolf, jeu de boules and more. We also had a swim in the nice pool. The highlight is the terrace with the amazing view, the outdoor kitchen and the sweetest dogs. I can highly recommend this place, we will come back for sure!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Beautiful and peaceful place except when the neighbor's dogs are having a good time... If you are on foot, it will take you 40 min. to reach the accommodation from Porto Covo, and it makes you think that there are no restaurants or shops nearby. Otherwise Maria is a very welcoming and kind host. The added bonus is the small pool in front of the rooms. I recommend it.

Highly recommend Filipe’s Airbnb! Situated just outside of Ericeira and easy to get there via car, taxi and I think there’s also a bus. The Airbnb is just a short walk down to the beach where there’s a small bar and cafe. Also it has a surf school which is much less busy than the ones in Ericeira. The house itself is just a perfect place to relax, there is loads of space outside the house to sunbath or sit out for dinner. Filipe is a brilliant host, he helped us with everything we needed and let us know the area and things to do. He also has two amazing dogs that love some fuss. Overall we couldn’t recommend Filipe and his Airbnb enough. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely stay again.

A perfect stay. Dora was a super attentive host and took all our needs into consideration. The accommodation is impeccable, super clean, the Jacuzzi is well organized in terms of logistics and is a magnificent plus. A true gem. The casita, perched atop a small mountain, offers 360-degree views, including a stunning ocean vista. Immersed in nature and fresh air, the peace is profound. Well-maintained walking trails wind through the property with frog ponds and bird-filled trees. The casita was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and the bed was comfy with soft, quality linens. Every detail made it feel like a home away from home. One of the true joys was spending time with the donkeys each morning and evening—gentle, sweet companions that added to the charm. The hosts are simply wonderful. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made me feel like family. Their care and hospitality elevated my stay beyond just a getaway—it was an experience of connection, relaxation, and renewal. If you are looking for beauty, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the perfect retreat. I am looking forward to my return!
