Vacation rentals with lake access in Port Hope

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

Tracey & Rodney were great hosts only matched by their charming home and surroundings! I would rate 6 stars if I could - highly recommended. lovely spot for some quiet outside time. backyard is spacious and welcoming. plenty of options for seating to enjoy sun or shade. kitchen was absolutely amazing to prepare food in, well organized and nicely laid out. rooms were tidy and clean, plenty of space to sleep 6 comfortably. would highly recommend this spot

We had a great stay! The house was spotless and very well maintained. Having three full bathrooms was incredibly convenient for our group, and the hot tub was a perfect. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

This lakeside retreat was the perfect escape for our couple’s getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view of the lake. The peaceful surroundings and quiet atmosphere made it so easy to unwind and reconnect. The home itself is incredibly cozy, with warm touches throughout that made it feel inviting and intimate. If you’re looking for a serene spot to recharge and enjoy some quality time together, this place is an absolute dream.

This was a beautiful clean place to stay so close to the 401, restaurants, walking distance to amenities needed if needed, my boys and I enjoyed this house along with the easy check in and out no issues to complain about here! we would stay here again Thank you Sasi hope to visit again

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Loved this place. There was a great view from the balcony and the place was located very close to many restaurants and other activities. Matthew was very helpful and he responded quickly if we needed help with anything. Overall this place was great and we had such a good time here!

We enjoyed a short one-night stay before our salmon fishing trip. Great amenities in a very comfortable two-bedroom basement apartment in a quiet home. Perfect location within walking distance to the Newcastle marina. Would highly recommend!

Our first Airbnb stay and it was a great experience! The host was fantastic—very helpful, responsive, and made sure everything we needed was available. The place is clean, safe (24/7 security), and perfect for a family of three. Philip, the security guard, was very kind and helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped—we cooked breakfast and dinner easily. A washing machine, dryer, and iron are also provided. Comfortable bed and sofa bed made for a good night's sleep. Location is amazing—walking distance to Dundas St, Eaton Centre, CN Tower, Queen’s Terminal, and St. Michael’s Basilica. Grocery stores like No Frills, Metro, Bulk Barn, and St. Lawrence Market are nearby. Will definitely stay here again when in Toronto!

Absolutely great location, within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, major attractions (CN Tower, Metro Convention Centre, Rogers' Centre) and even grocery stores. Secure access, felt very safe. The condo was spotless and as described. The walk-in shower was a bonus for people with mobility issues. The elevators were busy at check-out time, so it's a good idea to allow extra time to get downstairs.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

Marie's place was a great stay, and was grateful for the spotless kitchen.

GPS found the place immediately. I like that it was a peaceful stay yet close enough to other houses as we arrived the place at 10:30pm. Kim is responsive and helpful. I wish we had time to spend at their yard! It was neat and beautiful. My kids would have loved it but we didn’t have time as we were heading at the conference the next morning. God willing, we are coming back.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. Leah’s place was a dream! The pictures do not do justice to just how beautiful the property is! It was our first vacation with our 3 month old baby and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leah was extremely helpful, responsive and even though the guest house is right next to the main home, Leah was extremely respectful of our privacy and we felt right at home. The house itself was clean, with outstanding views from each window. We were welcomed by goose and swans and it was amazing. Leah has friendly cats who too came to say hello! The sunset is amazing from the property and I can for sure say that we will be back soon! Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences so far

Found this gem of a place. Stayed for 3 nights with family with kids. The house was really well equipped and organised. We enjoyed every bit of it. Clean linens, clean towels, blankets, boat, canoe, games etc. The place is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to the big stores like Walmart if you need to get something. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a home away from home and spend some quiet time by the lake.

Erin’s place was exactly as described. Very well equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. We loved the clean white linens on all the beds. The sunsets were so beautiful. We sat every evening on the deck and watched the sun go down. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. Thank you Erin and Alex.

We stayed for my wife’s 30th birthday celebration. Alex was extremely flexible with an early check in to facilitate setting up decorations prior to her arrival. He was fast to respond and very helpful with any issues we had. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. I don’t think the pictures did this place justice, the view from the backyard was incredible.
