The cottage is incredible - The views and the privacy of the back patio is unmatched. The small outdoor kitchen, fire pit, lounge chairs and table made hanging out in the morning and evening peaceful and easy. The home itself is one of the few remaining original fishing cottages on the island and you can feel the charm of its texture. I have stayed at many Airbnbs - this is certainly the best stocked kitchen. Host is kind, helpful and very responsive. Perfect stay for a lovely island getaway.

What a wonderful place to stay! Katherine’s hospitality made our group of three feel right at home. The kitchen in particular was well stocked and we were able to cook a few great meals before heading out on our backpacking trip at Olympic National Park. The view of the moon over the water at night was gorgeous and we would love to come back next year. Comfy beds, beautiful plants around the home, and plenty of space to plan our hiking routes. Thank you!!!

This cottage is quaint and close to Alki we walked to the beach in about 4 min! Jeanne was able to help out and get us in a tiny bit early which was helpful with an early arrival flight. She was super kind. She met us and chatted for 20 min about the house upon arrival. (Which some people may like or not). We had a lovely time at this cottage! Very clean and we loved having a washer and dryer and she provided beach towels which was helpful. Thanks!

Had a great stay! Olympic National Park sites and Sequim are short drives away and could be in downtown PA within minutes. The home is cozy with great views. It has everything you need to cook a great meal and relax on the back patio. Would definitely stay again.

We had such an AMAZING stay at LoveShine! I was traveling for work to attend the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend. My husband and our thirteen year old son also accompanied me. We had plenty of room for work and play and the view of the water was just gorgeous and so relaxing. The house is even more beautiful in person. Debi has added many thoughtful touches and as other reviewers mention, she’s hands down one of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered. She’s incredibly attentive—the premade breakfast is so thoughtful and was really appreciative as we were a bit exhausted when we got in. However, as attentive as she is, she also gives you plenty of space. The home’s location achieves a similar balance. You can easily feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of life at LoveShine, yet you can also access town relatively quickly. It’s a great jumping off point for hiking, water sports, fishing, and dining. If it’s still available while you’re searching—book it!

Stayed here for Crab Fest, and it was perfect. We were able to walk down to the downtown area where the festival was. Even though this location is more in the town it was still very private, and we weren't bothered by road noise. Andrea was so responsive, and flexible about check-in. We were very appreciative!

My kids and I loved stayed here! We were here in June and the garden was beautiful - better than the photos even. The inside was peaceful and calm, with comfy beds. We even got to meet the chickens, which my kids loved. Winslow is an easy walk - 5 or 10 minutes depending on pace and you’re at the coffee shops, restaurants, water front park, etc. Very manageable with kids and no car. Danis is friendly and helpful; she went out of her way to help us with activities. Very reasonable house rules and checkout.

Very peaceful. Lovely to hear and see the hummingbirds zooming above the deck. The house is very comfy and cozy. The kitchen had everything you needed. The real keeper was the beautiful view of the water from the deck.

Although we’ve visited Bainbridge Island before, this was our first time staying there. Toby and Rosie’s apartment was clean, cozy, and well appointed. The location was perfect, with my partner and I constantly commenting on how quiet the area was. Pin-drop quiet, aside from an occasional ferry horn or bird call. Absolutely wonderful! We were within comfortable walking distance of the ferry dock, shops, cafes, nature trails, and grocery. We even got lucky a couple of times with the BI shuttle, which conveniently dropped us off and picked us up at the rental. The apartment itself was impeccably clean with gorgeous natural lighting throughout. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our stay, and the care and kindness of our hosts was greatly appreciated. Bonus star awarded for the snacks, especially the cheese scones!

Highly recommend. Great location for jumping off to the parks and beach and other fun locations. Super flexible when I got my date wrong and couldn't change it. Very responsive hosts. Would stay again. The hot tub and sauna were very helpful after a long day of hiking and travel.

Cherie's place was an ideal home base for a few days exploring the Banana Belt. Tucked into the woods deep in the heart of the peninsula, the property was absolutely stunning (her garden is INCREDIBLE). We really appreciated the ample space for spreading out, the well stocked kitchen for eating in, and the generous supply of linens and towels. My partner and I both agreed that the bed was one of the most comfy we've slept on in ages. Cherie was very friendly and quick to respond to messages making check-in streamlined. All around great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Patrick’s place. It was the perfect location for what we needed. We will definitely be visiting the area again and would recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting the area.

Deanna and John are incredibly hospitable and very nice! The place is spectacular! We had a beautiful view right at the ocean (even from the bed) and the mountains! The room is very tastefully furnished and equipped with a comfortable king size bed, a massage chair, a fridge, a microwave, a beautiful bathroom and a balcony with a great view! Deanna even went the extra mile to fulfil our wish by getting us Frappuccino. There are treats and snacks in the room and plenty of food in the kitchen area! Wonderful! A special surprise was the indoor pool with a counter-current system. I would have given more than 5 stars if that would be possible! Thank you for the great experience!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with Deanna The place was exactly as described—clean, ocean view , and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked with essentials for breakfast . The location was ideal with ocean view and access It was easy to explore the area and come back to a quiet, peaceful place each night. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive. They provided clear check-in instructions and also tour to property which made the whole experience seamless. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

DM is a fantastic host and looked after all of our needs. She is very caring and attentive to details. Her place is spacious and very comfortable. The backyard is large, quiet, private and has direct access to the beach/water. We particularly liked the landscape, wild flowers, lots of grass and trees, and the wildlife (bunnies, deer, robins., hawks, eagles and more). The space is nestled between the trees and overall is very peaceful and tranquil - a great place to unwind. We felt right at home and have every intention of returning.

Hi, What a beautifully comfortable place this is. I got here after a long day...flight, ferry and drive and did not want to do anything other than have a restful night. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The room had everything I needed and then there was a reminder - I am too blessed to be stressed - this has become my motto for the trip :). The bathroom is good with hot water. The breakfast was simple and sufficient and the coffee plenty...which I enjoyed sitting on the outdoor swing looking at the beautiful garden and listening to the birds. It is very close to hywy 101 and for me this was important. This airbnb is a home and from the indoor plants to the books on the shelf to the quotes it is a reminder that you are in the welcoming company of peaceful people.
