Monthly Rentals in Pokai Beach

Aloha, We are the Gomes Ohana originally from the Wai’anae Coast where the home is listed but now we live on the island of Kaua’i. We always use Air bnb for our family vacations and stayed in different houses and this was the 2nd home that we’ve stayed at that we all slept like babies. There were absolutely no wandering spirits in this home. You could feel the spiritual protection that shielded this home. The feeling of this home tells me a lot about the people who care for it and we loved it. Nothing negative or bad can enter this home and you can literally feel the peace. Our 5 month old grand daughter was so comfortable and enjoyed her time there too. So if you are looking for a place of peace that embraces your family with love and safety this is the place for you. What a beatiful place to visit. Magnificent view, as you look through the sliding glass doors, you see beatiful green mountains to your left, and a wide glistening blue ocean to your right. The AC inside always keeps you cool, however, if you wish to shut the AC down and open the sliding doors, you can experience the cool wind and feel one with the nature without. Staying at Giselle's place was so comfortable that we renewed our stay twice and she graciously accommodated our request for extension without raising our rental rate. Giselle's communication made us feel like we had been friends for quite sometime. We enjoyed all the supplies she made available to us in the kitchen and bathroom, but we felt to resupply most items we used and may be a bit more as for appreciation. Giselle made sure we did not forget anything during check-in and check-out. The kitches was well equipped and clean, with very little wear and tear. Doing laundry was easy to do in our floor's shared laundry room.

We loved our stay. Amazing ocean front. Everything you need is in the condo to include beach chairs. This place is in the heart of the local scene in Makaha. so, traffic is really bad on the one lane highway and it could take you an hour and a half to get to Honolulu. You really need a car to stay here. Also, the beach is always crowded well into the night and it can get loud. You dont need airconditioning because the breeze is amazing, but you cant close your sliding glass doors and lose the breeze. Thus, you have party noise especially on weekend nights. In summary, This gem is a 10 out of 10 for a couple that wants to get to an great place to just get away and not drive. You really feel the local culture, too.

Unit was very clean and organized. I appreciated the window coverings as the sun can get intense from large ceiling to floor windows. Nice unit.
