Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Podstrana

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

Fabulous house for family trip to Split!

Staying at Antes place was absolutely amazing for our family! It was our second time in Croatia but would stay here again in a second We had an extended family of 10 in town for a wedding in Zagreb, and to start our trip we stayed here. The place was serene, peaceful and well equipped for everything we needed. We absolutely loved every moment of this stay and would recommend to anyone! Thank you, Ante and family for making us feel so at home and for your beautiful hands on touches.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

What a nice house, pool, terrace and stunningly beautiful views. We greatly enjoyed the privacy, the sea in front of the house and the rocks behind it. We also liked the tranquility and the beautiful whistling of the birds. We felt very welcome, Tonci and Filka received us very pleasantly. A filled refrigerator was ready to get through the first day well. The kitchen has all the comforts. Nice bed and lovely terraces. Everything super clean and good. The road you drive to get to the house is a challenge the first time, but you get used to it. It is also nice that the local users take you into account. We had a vacation to remember. Thanks for the lovely stay.

5 of use stayed at Borna’s place in split for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The house is cosy with a beautiful view of the bay, located in the national park it is peaceful and refreshing. Borna was very friendly and helpful, check in & out was super easy and I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering! Hope to come back again soon.

We had a wonderful stay here- loved the village and the local restaurants recommended- Marina is very kind and we were able to do our laundry and have a home while in Croatia- it’s a great central location for activities and sightseeing ❤️🇭🇷 we will be back

Gordan was a great host, super attentive and always willing to help - whenever we messaged. Overall, the property was amazing, looked even better than the pictures and would definitely go back. The only difficulty was access to the property, but eventually you learn the work arounds

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hosts are so friendly and super quick to respond to any questions - Ivan couldn’t have been more helpful. The views from the rooftop are absolutely breathtaking. The villa has everything you could possibly need, the pool area is amazing, all the rooms are huge with lovely en-suites and balconies, we would definitely book to stay here again. We had a fantastic stay at Villa! The view is absolutely breathtaking — easily the best part of the villa and something you'll never get tired of. The driveway is very steep, which can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you've done it once, it's totally manageable. The villa itself is clean, comfortable, and truly lives up to its name — peaceful and private. The host is incredibly sweet and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with unforgettable scenery!

We absolutely had an amazing time at the villa. Anita and her family was very very sweet they picked us from middle as our uber dropped us , the house was super clean , they also welcomed us with local alcohol they produce. Very very responsive about everything like recommendations and helps. Fully recommend them if you want to enjoy a villa with pool, jacuzzi and BBQ and also want a peaceful time away from hustle bustle.

Such great host, so many recommendations that makes planning so easy. From where to park at various destinations which saved so much time and hassle to restaurant ideas even far away from the area. So much clear helpful info available whenever you so desire

The villa is a wonderful retreat to escape daily business. The breathtaking view and the pool are the heart of the modern and clean house. Bernard is friendly, nice, and very helpful in case of special requests. Thanks a lot. The beds are comfy, a/c in every room helps to cool down. The villa is pretty close to the airport, nonetheless, in the house, you almost don’t hear any plane. Additionally, this place is the perfect home base to start exploring the area. Split and Trogir are close by and you can rent boats and have them come to the local harbour for a pick-up. (Kastela Boat Tours, ask for Gordan, ;-). Bernard, thank you for being such an excellent host. We enjoyed our time.

I had a fantastic stay at Zrinka's Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed—Zrinka met us in person to show us around and answer any questions, which was a lovely touch. We were also greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket filled with snacks, beer, wine, and some absolutely delicious local olive oil. It was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into making sure the home was fully equipped with everything we might need. We were traveling with four young children, including two one-year-olds, so I really appreciated the availability of a travel cot with a proper mattress and a high chair. I would highly recommend staying here—it was a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Ines and her family are great hosts. Just the way you want it. You can live 100% privately in the apartment, as if you were at home. Also even if the hosts are staying in the apartment upstairs. The family was extremely helpful in answering questions around the local, both when we met them and here on the chat. The apartment has as shown in the photos, a perfect terrace/balcony - 50% covered, so whatever weather conditions, the time can be enjoyed outside. ⭐️ A stay at Ines and her family can only be recommended! 😎💪🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you Aki and Edwin for providing your beautiful apartment with a splendid view of the entire bay and the Adriatic Sea and the beautiful island of Brac! We had the best time staying here! The apartment is very comfortable, it even seemed bigger than in the published photos! The bedding is excellent, the kitchen perfectly equipped, the private terrace where you can rest or eat is well furnished and has an incredible view, the amenities (table and chairs, gas BBQ, sun loungers, outdoor bed, outdoor shower, etc.) and the pool on the common roof terrace are very much appreciated. Everything is very clean. The environment is residential and very quiet, taking the high road from the coastal road. The street in front is not very busy and goes up to a small traditional village full of charm and a very good restaurant. The view up there is wonderful. I recommend it 100%! We had the warmest welcome possible. Luciana even made supper because we arrived late. The garden is amazing and you feel and see the passion and time that is put into it. The garden is mostly edible, fresh fruit and tea are always present! It’s a little paradise of tranquility and a perfect place to visit Omis, Split or the multiple beaches all around. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it! Luciana is the warmest host and made us feel right at home!

We had a wonderful family vacation. Very much enjoyed the outdoor kitchen with beautiful sea views and sunsets. Snorkeling was nice at nearby beach and we took the boat out and drove along shoreline. House came equipped with many amenities including some art supplies. If you are looking for a relaxing beach destination with spectacular views, this is the house to choose!

Spotless apartment where everything appears to be new. There is a separate washer and dryer. The dryer dries very quickly. The A/C is only in the living room but it easily cools the bedroom if you leave the door open. There are shutters on all of the windows to totally block out the light. The free parking on premises is limited to about 8 cars and was almost always full during our 4 day stay. There is free street parking where the apartment is located and we were able to find parking within a block, so not a big deal. An Uber to Old Town is €5. Our 11 year old son used the sofabed and said it was very comfortable. The main bed was as well. Very short walk to a sandy beach. Great place overall!!

Very welcoming host, no complaints. In addition, the apartment is very well located (close to the sea and split) with beautiful decoration and all the necessary amenities. From the terrace, the apartment overlooks the mountain. Very nice view setting with a good value. I recommend the apartment for those who have a budget🙃.

me and my two children spent two nights here. we all liked the housing and the area a lot. it felt like coming home. easy to go to the sea and easy to fins shopping and food.
