PERFECT stay! Beautiful, cozy, stylish. Easy drive from Seattle. Lots of great hiking a short drive away, and a lovely island to wander. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, tasteful decor, and good shower pressure with hot water. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and inside in the cute kitchen. Dining room was lovely. Wifi was great for working (briefly thankfully!). The island community center had a pleasant pool, hot tub (little busy, but it was Memorial Day Weekend and everyone was having fun) and sports facilities (tennis, basketball, etc.). Nice fireplace with wood left for our stay. Incredibly good value. Just a perfect, unique, cool stay. Very peaceful and beautiful. We were one couple and two single adults, and it was ideal for us (one bigger primary room, plus two slightly smaller but equally comfortable rooms). Would have fit three couples, or parents and children. Could not say enough great things about this place!! We'll be back!

Had a wonderful time staying here with my girlfriends! Very beautiful and cozy cabin, very clean and well stocked with kitchen, linen needs and entertainment options. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The hosts were kind, understanding and proactive!

Our stay at the Otter Haven was wonderful! The views are breathtaking, no matter the weather or time of day. It was the perfect space for us to host some out of town family members and finally enjoy our first holiday gathering since before the pandemic. There was plenty of space, seating, beds, and everything else we needed during our stay. Glen was very responsive and available for questions while we made arrangements and plans for hosting Thanksgiving dinner (and our own home is close by, so the convection oven was perfect for our needs). We love finding gems near home, and I can definitely see us staying at the Otter Haven sometime in the future (maybe when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the kayaks and outdoor spaces!). It’s a must if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway! Our family really enjoyed the beautiful views, open windows, spacious patio, kayaks and wildlife. The property was very clean, with clear and detailed instructions. Definitely returning for a longer stay!

Alex provided a small house, consisting of one bedroom with a queen bed and a full private bathroom in the hallway. There is also a comfortable pull-out sofa bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen and laundry in the house. He has a strong heater and an air conditioner/dehumidifier unit. The place is spotless. Also on the property is a separate small dry/wet sauna, and a separate yoga studio. The design and aesthetics are quite calm and relaxing. The property is part of a large development alongside the southern portion of Lake Cushman, and you a provided a pass to use the private parks and docks in this neighborhood. The house is about 20 minutes away from the Staircase portion of Olympic National Park, and is about 7 minutes from the town of Hoodsport, which has a nice grocery store. There is a detailed instruction manual in the house, which is helpful to figure out how to operate some of the amenities. Alex was immediately responsive to questions. Overall, an amazing place.

Such a peaceful gem! We loved the water views and access, the firepit, the art supplies, and having a cozy space to unwind and unplug. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks!

My partner and I stayed at Daniel’s place for the weekend, and it was truly magical. Nestled in the woods, the cabin is warm, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. We loved starting our mornings with coffee and a short walk to the nearby beach—just a three-minute stroll away. The whole area felt like a perfect escape from the world. We spent our days biking, paddleboarding, and kayaking through the beautiful surroundings. It was a special experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing this place, Daniel!

Absolutely Perfect Waterfront Getaway! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Grapeview! The setting is peaceful and private, right on the water, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hot tub was the perfect spot to relax in the evenings under the stars. Didn’t have time to use the kayaks or fire pit but next time for sure. The house was spotless and incredibly well-stocked—every kitchen item we could possibly need was there, which made cooking a breeze. There were plenty of soft towels, toiletries and thoughtful touches throughout the space. You can tell a lot of care went into making this place feel like a true retreat. Puzzles were also a big hit! The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and luxurious stay a little off the beaten path, this is it. We’re already know we will hopefully stay there next time we are in town. Highly recommend!
