Monthly Rentals in Pereta

Roberto and Catia’s home is in a delightful location with beautiful views. Ours appeared to be one of two units rented out to guests. There is a shared lawn with tables and chairs outside, even in November we had warm sunny days. Roberto and Catia were very generous giving us local produce and the biggest home made jam tart! The photos indicated that breakfast is included, this wasn’t the case which was fine for us as we had food with us and were kindly given eggs and veg from the garden by Roberto’s mum. The lighting in the living area is a little harsh but we solved this by using the 2 lamps in the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen facilities were great. We had a nice walk around the farm, enjoyed the wonderful free thermal pools at Cascate del Mulino, we were disappointed by the lack of food stalls at Grosseto market, enjoyed a swim in the sea in the national park. We had a great sandwich from a kiosk on the bottom road in Scansano, a really pretty town. Pereta seemed closed for the winter.

Lovely home and surroundings! Alessandro was a fantastic host! The wine, figs and olive oil he shared with us were wonderful. We highly recommend staying here for your Tuscan getaway!

Delightful and comfortable apartment in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by vineyards and hills. Fully equipped with everything , I felt right at home! Just a few kilometers from a postcard-perfect medieval village, full of attractions and a lively social life. Highly recommended.

Staying at Paola and Nino’s place was one of the highlights of our trip. The house is even more beautiful than the photos, with every detail thoughtfully considered and a setting that truly captures the essence of Tuscan magic. It’s incredibly peaceful, with sweeping views and a real sense of privacy, yet close enough to explore charming villages and beaches. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms, a real plus during the summer heat. Paola and Nino were the most gracious hosts, warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything, yet also giving us plenty of space. Their three sweet labradors were a lovely bonus! We truly didn’t want to leave and would return in a heartbeat.
