House vacation rentals in Pendle District

Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

The caravan we stayed at was lovely. We were welcomed with a box of chocolates which was a nice gesture and the kids were very excited about haha We had forgotten our phone chargers but luckily there was a charger at the caravan. The TV had netflix and there was WiFi available. The hosts local guide was brilliant and we did most things recommended including Williamson park, Lancaster castle, St Patrick's chapel at Heysham Head and Morecambe which we would highly recommend to others staying. We had taken our own t.bags, coffee, sauces etc but these were also left at the caravan so if people forgot things then they were available. Would stay here again :)

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

Extremely pleasant week in Kendal and surrounding area using Cathy’s lovely accommodation as our base . Fully equipped , very comfortable , lovely decor and the bonus of private parking blended with some very fine weather all added into a perfect week for our family holiday get together. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to be close to amenities within lovely surroundings…..

We had a fantastic stay , the barn was beautiful ,mike was very helpful and friendly. My granddaughters was very happy to see the baby chicks hatching and the lovely fresh eggs went down well for breakfast , we didn't use the pool has the girl's was bad and and it would be nice if it was in with the price , £40 a day is a bit much if ur there for a few days and only using it for about an hour or so a day . A fantastic place well worth a visit

I'd stay at Jackie's place again whenever I next visit no question. Good price, and the place is exactly as she's described. And whenever I messaged her she always responded back to me within 30mins at most which is excellent

Heather cottage is a gorgeous little place, exceeds expectations from the pictures! We had a 5 night stay for our 4th wedding anniversary. Amanda had left us a lovely welcome gift which was really sweet. The cottage is nicely decorated with nods to the Brontes' and the log burning fire was stacked ready to light, which we did on night 2! Many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk including artisan/gift shops to indulge yourself, which we did! At the the weekend there was the Haworth Haddock steam train event, with fish&chips served on board, a drinks carriage and live music at Keighley Station which we enjoyed! Theres plenty to see or do in the surrounding area of Bronte villiage. We'll definitely be going back to Heather Cottage! Thanks again Amanda.

The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and warm. The kitchen in particular is of a very high standard. Instructions and communication were very clear and quick. The area is nice and friendly. We enjoyed the nearby Pendle Heritage Centre, which has a good cafe. A great stay. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Hoglet House. Hannah was a brilliant host and responded really quickly. The house was so well equipped, Hannah had thought of everything, and the welcome goodies and flowers in the house were such a lovely touch. The house information booklet was the best I’ve ever seen - the nespresso coffee guide and detailed cafe/restaurant guide were great! The cul de sac the house was on was super quiet and a really short walk into Skipton, and was also ideally located for exploring the wider area. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Fantastic communication and very helpful. Beautiful cottage contemporary but in character a very relaxing feel to the place. Would definitely stay again.

5/5 – Can’t recommend enough! We had such a fantastic stay at James’ place! The house was immaculate and everything was spotless and super clean. The showers were hot, and the big TVs in all the rooms. James was a great host and really friendly and always quick to answer any questions we had. The check-in process was so easy too, with a lockbox and key, and he sent us the code ahead of time which made everything super easy. There were hairdryers, and he even sorted out an iron, and even an ironing board, which all came in handy. He gave us a late checkout, which was so kind and really appreciated! Overall, a solid 5/5 stay. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. An absolute gem of a property. Great amenities and an excellent location too. Caroline was an excellent host who was so proactive and super responsive to any questions we had. We hope to stay again!

This little house may be small, but it has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. A few minutes walk from the town centre, with free parking, it's super convenient. It was really interesting to spend a couple of days in one of these little, historical, back-to-back, workers' houses, all nicely modernised, and it's worth exploring the nearby streets if you're interested in such things.. All the usual kitchen equipment is in place: there's a nice comfy sofa, a table which can be used either for eating or for your laptop (and wi-fi, of course), and two clean, comfortable bedrooms. If, like us, you have a dog with you, there's a useful walking area nearby, all lush with trees and a little stream. My dog and I enjoyed some delightful early morning wanders down there. The town itself offers a range of interesting shops and food outlets, as well as a nearby branch of Aldi. We were only there for a weekend, but would happily have stayed longer, and I'd happily recommend it.

What a wonderful place, excellent conversion full of character. Beautifully clean, had everything we needed and more. The tour round the mill was fascinating and the local area, pub included, was great. We would have no hesitation in recommending or booking again.

What a beautiful location and truly special place to say. From beginning to end, Tanya made us feel incredibly welcome. Even to the point of homemade carrot cake outside the from door when we arrived back from a long walk! We loved playing with their gorgeous dogs (who are super well trained and will leave you well alone if you're not a dog-lover). The place was immaculate, and the photos don't actually do it justice. Lots of cute and unique features and high quality finish. Right next to a gorgeous stream. I walked from there over the Pennine Way to Halton, a thoroughly enjoyable 9-mile jaunt. While leaving my partner to the 3 Peaks Challenge. And the super cute Ns characterful pub up the road was on the cherry on a very enjoyable cake. I'll definitely be coming again!

Our stay at Katie's was fabulous! The home was adorable and perfectly located, with large windows that filled the space with bright light and charming furnishings. The garden was lovely, and the location was ideal for walks in Whalley, Painter Wood, and the wider Ribble Valley. Katie was an excellent communicator, providing detailed information on local amenities, entertainment, and clear house rules. She was friendly and prompt in her responses. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Oak Tree Cottage despite the awful weather we were unfortunately faced with. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed and more! Rebecca was very responsive and answered our many questions and very kindly allowed us a late check out which was really kind useful 😊 would definitely stay here again and recommend to others 😊

Perfect spot to relax and unwind. The Spinney is beautifully furnished and plenty of room for 4. Rosie and her family are lovely.

Fabulous stay at Oaken Fields. The house was spacious and very well equipped. Lovely to sit in the beautiful garden and have a glass of wine in the evening. A 7 minute walk into the village with a selection of friendly pubs. We were very sad to leave and plan to return in the autumn.

What a beautiful stay! The cottage is surrounded by green with beautiful landscape out every window. You can hear the river through the bedroom windows - so relaxing. It’s a gorgeous walk into Hebden Bridge; the other way stunning trails up to Hardcastle Crags and Gibson Mill. The cottage is super well set up for post-walk relaxing, with everything you need in the kitchen, lots of cozy seating in the living room, and am amazing great big bath. Ashley is an incredible host and has thought of everything, so friendly and helped make sure we were getting the most out of our stay and the special events on in Hebden Bridge. To top it all off, a fabulous basket of homemade goodies was waiting for us on arrival. I couldn’t recommend Kindness Cottage more.
