The cottage is suitable as a base for a business trip, a return trip abroad, a weekend capital tour, or the cultural tour of Lake Tuusula. It is about 25 min from the airport, and 30 min from Helsinki center by car. Supermarkets are just 5 min away by car. Able to fit up to 4 persons (double bed on the loft + separate bedroom). The cabin has everything you would want of a cabin. It is by a lake in a beautiful national park with trails starting right at the house and leading into a very diverse forest. The cabin itself is also great. It is not just a airbnb place, with the most necessary stuff, but has been in private use for many years. Therefore it offers much more than can be described in the airbnb listing. The dishwasher, oven and bbq makes cooking easy and enable you to cook anything. We had a great time and I can strongly recommend this cabin.

Our stay was an amazing getaway! The cabin was so peaceful, surrounded by trees and birds. We managed to cook all our meals in the cabin, and Rasmus was responsive and helpful. Although there is no running water, there was enough water available for our needs. We even borrowed bikes to cycle to a nearby hiking nature area, which was the cherry on top. A great stay near the city!

My stay at Virgil's place was one of the best AirBnB experiences I've had. The apartment was equipped with everything I needed, and the spa in the bathroom was a fantastic bonus! It was super clean, everything worked as it should. Location was another plus, just a short walk from local shops and the station, with convenient access to downtown Helsinki in one direction, and the airport in the other. But the best part of the whole experience was Virgil himself. Always quick to respond to enquiries, friendly, helpful with accurate information, and going the extra step to provide whatever I needed. He worked in the apartment during the day, but was always respectful of my needs and thoughtful to not disturb. And always offering help if needed. Kiitos Virgil, it was a joy to meet you and stay in your place. Hopefully we'll meet again!
