Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Paddington Basin

We thoroughly enjoyed spending our Christmas holiday here with our kids, ages 4 and 6. It was cozy and comfortable, and even decorated with a Christmas tree, which really made it feel like home. Nicely sized space. Convenient to all modes of public transportation, some great restaurants, and shops, but still on a quiet street. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated the food basket, complete with some essentials, that welcomed us on arrival.

Loved staying here, cozy and beautiful garden to enjoy while at home. Fast Wi-Fi, responsive host.. couldn’t ask for more.

The location was ideal to get to everywhere on our to see list. Ease of getting from the airport to the location was amazing with the Elizabeth line. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to get supplies. While the bathroom was very tight, looking back at the listing photos, they were accurate. I mean, really look at the photos , especially if you’re over 5’ 6”. The stairs, same thing, very steep and tight, again, photos were accurate. I did miss having a dryer as an American but using the drying rack was easy. All the appliances were new and clean and worked well once I figured out where the outlet switches were located. Again, location was really great for access to the city.

We had an wonderful experience during our 4-night stay! The house was very clean, modern, and spacious. The kitchen and living room on the top floor were bright and airy thanks to the skylights. The location was ideal! The Bayswater underground station is directly across the street and the Queensway station is a very short walk, giving us many transportation options. There are plenty of grocery and dining options in the surrounding area, but the house also feels quite and private because it is tucked away just off of the main street. Angie was extremely responsive and helpful anytime we messaged her. I would highly recommend staying here!

Amazing stay! Highly recommend, we had a great time. Great for kids, our daughter loved the toys and record player. Accessible to most things walking or public transit. We had a car and had to street park which ended up being no big deal. 10/10 would stay again!

Serge’s place was so awesome and enjoyable. Because it is close to local areas. It is so easy to transport from the house. The house was so clean and cozy. It was fun to love in this house for 3 days.

We moved our stay at Julion’s place. It’s completely different to what we live in and our usual style so it was extremely fun with the family! The cinema room is next level! We loved the location, where the joke is situated was quiet and easy, especially for uber pick up to and from airport. Super close to trains also. I would highly recommend and would stay there again !!

James place was so nice. Me and my partner stayed for a long weekend and it’s very relaxing. The finishes are modern with a classic feel to the house. James is very communicative and would love to stay again

5 stars isn’t enough! Aaron’s Airbnb was absolutely fantastic. He was an excellent host—super responsive, friendly, and communicative throughout our stay. My husband and I were on our honeymoon, and Aaron went above and beyond by recommending an incredible sushi spot that I still dream about. The space itself was beautiful and thoughtfully maintained, but one major highlight: the bed. It was so comfortable that it honestly ruined other beds for us—we didn’t want to get up in the mornings! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

The house is in a good location and easy to find.The host is very friendly and the communication is timely.The surrounding area is very well equipped, lots of restaurants and a small supermarket.There is a private bathroom and a small kitchen, which is great.The lack of the United States is that the room is too small, only suitable for two people, there are more people around, and it is not suitable for going out alone at night.

Brilliant property and with secure parking and walking distance to most of central London locations. Very specious and parking is right outside the back door! Amazing. Highly recommend it

The property was excellent place to live right in the heart of London yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s surrounded by great Arabic restaurants (which I’m a fan of) and other qsr brands such as KFC, Domino’s, & Chicking. There are many groceries and a TESCO express and Sainsburry local if you wish to cook on your own or purchase any other stuff. Also it’s closer to tube stations and bus stop and always taxi is available when you step out from the building. If I ever visit back London again, I would definitely love to rebook this property.

The apartment was easy to find. Seher's messages provided detailed info. It is a cozy and comfortable place with great kitchen facilities. Buses right outside the building and Paddington a 4 minute walk. The books were a pleasant surprise as was the tea and coffee in the kitchen cabinet.

Had a great experience. Location was great within walking distance to underground stations and short walk to marble arch. Apartment was spacious and private and had outstanding views. Interaction with Lesya was also great and she was extremely helpful when we got there.

Small but perfectly formed flat in a great, quiet area of central London. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by - and lots of plates and cutlery if you want to stay in. Would recommend!

A clean and comfortable flat which has everything you need. The location is perfect to access shops, public transport and Hyde Park. I highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again if I’m in London.

This apartment is in a great location about two blocks from Paddington Station - incredibly convenient. Nice residential neighborhood, which felt very safe and had lots of food and grocery options. The apartment is incredibly well decorated on the top floor of a five story building. The unit was very quiet with complete privacy. The elevator goes to the fourth floor with one flight of stairs to get up to the apartment, which can be difficult if you have heavy luggage. But it’s only one flight of stairs. The host, Nida It’s very kind and responsive. We appreciate everything she helped us with. Lovely experience.

Sharon’s place is adorable - a lovely English flat, outside of the hustle and bustle of London, in a residential neighborhood. My favorite part of her place is her back yard - it’s like a slice of garden heaven in the middle of town. A pond, beautiful flowers; it was lovely just sitting out in her yard taking in the sun (when it wasn’t raining ;)). Entertained daily by magpies and foxes. This flat is just for one person as there is only a twin bed, but her flat is roomy and the kitchen can’t be beat! Sharon was a great communicator and checked in to make sure I was doing okay and was always responsive if I needed anything. Great place to unwind after being on the road. Thank you, Sharon!

I had an amazing time! I would totally recommend this place for every person who’s alone on vacation and wants to explore the city. The hosts were very friendly!

Maria was excellent, very responsive, great place. Not much light in the place because it’s right on the street, but if you don’t mind that, it’s perfect for a short stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment is in a great location- walking distance to charming Marylebone and pretty central to everything else. We travelled with our 14 month old and the apartment was perfectly suited for him, with a crib, high chair, even some toys! We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Thomas and Victoria’s was great! We are a family of 5, including 3 children. The flat was plenty large enough to accommodate us. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were invaluable during our 2 week stay. The flat’s location is fantastic- walkable to both Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate, as well as Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. The flat itself was very clean and came equipped with everything we needed (and more) for our stay. Our hosts seemed to think of everything. They checked in frequently to see if all was okay and to provide local recommendations. I highly recommend staying here!
