Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oxford

Such lovely people. Maureen and Martin are fantastic. Could not be more friendly and helpful. ... and lets not forget Buzz, their 3 year old black lab, who could not be better. The location was perfect, for us. VERY regular bus connections are just up the road, if you would like to go into London, or into Oxford centre. We even walked into central Oxford one day, which is very straight forward, easy, and around 45-50 mins Maureen's baking is good enough for Hollywood (Paul)! Thank you so much M&M...&B🐾. Breakfast was a joy.

It was a wonderful stay with Natasha and her family. I was made to feel so welcome and the room and facilities were everything I needed for the Nocturne concert at Blenheim Palace. I was driving so i really loved how it’s incredibly well connected to the park and ride (5 minute drive) and 14 minutes from Blenheim itself so that made everything a total breeze! 100% recommend and thank you so much for having me in your home 🥰❤️ I hope to return!

There’s a really relaxed, friendly vibe at Rose’s. Everything was as expected, comfortable and in a great location. Would definitely stay again.

I had a great time at Sue's place. She's an incredible host and made me feel at home in the second I entered the house for the first time. The house is really beautiful, with a nice garden in the back, but also close to nature if you want to go for a walk etc. I stayed there for four weeks and I was really sad to leave in the end. I would choose this place again if I came back to Oxford.

The house is much closer to the centre of town than I realised while booking and much more reasonably priced than the very central accommodation options. The room was bright and the bathroom was clean which is exactly what you need after a long day of travelling. Funda was very responsive and helpful when I ran into difficulties.

Our stay at Andrew's was a pleasure. We've loved every minute of it, thanks to the easy check-in, the clear instructions and most importantly the lovely place that Andrew is lucky to call home ! The bedroom was very clean and the bed was as comfortable as one could expect. The location is easily accessible from the city center with several bus line stopping nearby.

The accomodation was impeccable and Rachel was a wonderful host - extremely accommodating and very friendly. I would highly recommend staying with Rachel for a shorter or longer-term.

I loved staying over at Helena’s! My room was very neat and had a pretty view. The bathroom was accessible and the amenities were all as stated! I especially loved Purdy! She was such an adorable cat. I hope to stay with J and H if I do visit again! 🫶

Adam's place is exactly as described and pictured. I found it well-presented, clean, and well-equipped. Adam was friendly and gracious about special requests, which made all the difference. The flat is on a busy road near a traffic light, so there is noticeable traffic noise most times of day. Closing the windows cuts this down quite a bit but not entirely. The location is very convenient for the London and airport coaches and easily walkable to the rail station, tow path, and colleges. Small grocery store, riverside pub with food and a nice cafe with outdoor riverside seating are steps away.

We came to Oxford because my daughter had to have an operation and when we got there it was like traveling from home to home. The flat was clean and tidy and felt homely. The flat was a walk away from the hospital. Umu always communicated with us and if there was anything we needed she was just a message away. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Comfortable apartment in excellent location. The apartment is nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The shower is a bit small but workable. Central location with grocery stores and many restaurants within walking distance - yet peaceful location on the river bank.

Mark and Lesley were wonderful hosts -- very responsive and helpful without being overbearing. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and light-filled (when the English weather cooperates.) It feels bigger in person than the pictures might suggest and has everything you need, including a combination washer/dryer. I stayed for around a month and found it to be a comfortable and peaceful spot. The walk along the river from the nearby New Hinksey park was a highlight. For me it took about 20 minutes to get to Christ Church (closer to 30 to get to the Weston Library), but I am a slow walker. It is a nice walk and there are convenient buses if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute, quiet space out in nature. All was as advertised and a nice spot to spend the night. Particularly liked that it was over the garage, so we didn’t have to worry about our toddler crying or making noise throughout the night. Bathroom is down a fairly steep set of stairs - so if mobility is an issue that might be a challenge.

Luigi was extremely friendly and personally came to check in and check out which was very helpful. The place is extremely clean and tidy and has everything you would need. It is a quick very scenic walk to the center of town. There is also an available free parking spot, which is great because parking is very tough in town! It was a wonderful trip! Thank you Luigi for a terrific, care free holiday!!!

Our stay at Vanessa's lovely flat has been our best AirBnB experience so far. The flat was clean, well-equipped, and in a lovely residential neighborhood and yet within walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do/see in Oxford, and to grocery stores and restaurants. Vanessa is a terrific host--responsive, friendly, super easy to work with. Would happily come here again!

Would recommend this stay for anyone looking to stay in the oxford area! It was a short trip to the city center by uber or bike (or for those with more time, even a walk). Louisa and Simon were always responsive, before and during our stay and extremely accomodating with everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

We use Airbnb a lot. So as a general comparison I’d say great Airbnb. LOTS of communication. Very well stocked. Comfortable bed. Great decor. Central with parking. Handy for when I visit elderly relative. Likely to use it again. Quick to reply when I thought id left something behind.

STAY HERE!!!! Seriously, STAY HERE!!!! First, the host is incredible! She went above and beyond to accomodate our family and made us feel at home from the very beginning. She is quick to reply and loves helping others! Second, location. If you are visiting with a family and have kids, this place is the perfect spot. Why? There are two huge parks with playgrounds 7 mins away walking. The bus stop that takes you to town is 2 mins away walking. The grocery store is 10 mins away walking. Third, the place is very spacious and can easily sleep a family of multiple children!The backyard is well maintained and our child played there every afternoon while we had tea. Additionaly, the laundry machine works great and is big. The host even has sweet and salty treats for you upon arrival. We loved our stay. Lastly, the neighborhood has a nice local feeling and we all felt safe at all times! STAY HERE!!!!

it was absolutely amazing! it was extremely peaceful and in such a beautiful area. its not too far of a drive to local places like Bath. the apartment was really spacious and clean. me and my partner absolutely loved it and hope we can come back soon

This place truly made me feel right at home. absolutely incredible place and it is extremely clean. The flat was nestled in a peaceful yet convenient location right. The hospitality is incredible. free chips and wine what more can one ask for.

Susan’s apartment was perfect for what we needed. Spacious, excellent condition and great location for not visiting nearby friends and walking to town.

What can I say? Simply perfect! Incredible place. the pictures are superb but cannot quite do it the justice it deserves. We were fortunate to have such lovely weather and felt so lucky to be able to stand by the balcony overlooking the castle with a coffee watching Windsor go by. The apartment was spotless. Furnished to a very high standard and oh so tastefully done. What a location too. Walk out the front door, turn right and within 30 seconds you can be strolling along the magnificent Long Walk. Turn left and you're immediately in the heart of Windsor amongst the bars, cafes and restaurants. We can't wait to return. Thanks Jonathan for such a wonderful stay. Brilliant host.
