Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oxford

We had a beautiful stay at Vanessa’s place. It was clean, tidy, and just what we needed for a little break in the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly recommend The Little Forge for a stay in the Cotswolds - it was so pretty, peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus! We stayed here for our mini moon after our wedding for a bit of rest and relaxation and got just that! Kelly gave us super clear instructions of where to park and how to get in - all really easy. The cottage itself is really pretty, has all the home comforts you could possibly need as well as being in walking distance to a great pub with delicious food and really good service. It was peaceful and relaxing - Kelly had thought of all amenities you might need during your stay - it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is a great base to explore lots of the Cotswolds - we enjoyed Stow-on-the-Wold, walk no. 4 in the "40 walks in the Cotswolds" book, Cowley Manor Experimental for an afternoon spa trip and The Feathered Nest. We loved our stay - would love to come again some time! Thank you!

Stayed here with my family for graduation. Charlie's place is clean and functional, perfect for families and larger groups. The house is well equipped and right next to a small supermarket. Charlie is extremely responsive and communication was friendly and smooth. This was my second time staying and I would highly recommend!

The amenities in this accomodation are excellent, considering it is a studio. It is comfortable and quiet. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This was our second stay at Susie's property and both times it has been exceptional. The location is perfect, quiet but close to everything. Free parking is a huge plus too. We had a fabulous break and would love to visit again some time.

We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Elizabeth was a great host and made us feel welcome and right at home. The location in Broadway can’t be beat and we would recommend Elizabeth’s home to anyone wanting a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

A beautiful and peaceful cottage with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It was lovely to have everything there to make up a yummy breakfast! The location is great and walking distance to the village and pubs and restaurants.

A very pleasant, peaceful studio located in a wonderful area of Worcestershire. Tracey was very welcoming and helpful. With their instructions the studio was very easy to find as was the parking.

Lovely stay at this Airbnb, would recommend. Used as a base to visit friends. Peaceful neighbourhood and walkable to things of interest. Bed very comfy and Julian was a great host!

Afsoon was a phenomenal host. Super warm, helpful, considerate with a heart of gold. Her food was incredible. I highly recommend the 3 course meal and her delicious chocolates! The house was immaculate and beautiful, perfect for my time in Windsor.

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!
