Cosy home in the National Forest

SamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Claire’s property was great for us, it had absolutely everything you would need and more. The pictures don’t do the property justice as to how well maintained and clean everything is, the massive garden space and seating area outside is a great added bonus. Claire was friendly and keen to make sure everything was how we wanted as soon as we booked, even going to the added hassle of getting the sofa bed ready for us, would 100% stay again, and definitely recommend with a 5/5 rating.

Anslow Shires

We had the most magical weekend getaway staying in this charming hobbit house! It was the perfect escape, peaceful, private, cosy, and full of character. Everything was spotless, and even the towels smelled incredibly fresh (a small detail with big impact!). The beds were super comfy, and we loved waking up to the stunning surrounding landscape. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Helpful, friendly, and gave us space to just relax and enjoy. A lovely local pub is within walking distance, and best of all, the place was dog-friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a unique and restful stay.
A historic structure made of red brick stands prominently, flanked by a grassy pathway leading up to it. A stone bridge arches gracefully over a small shoulder of land, and trees gently frame the scene, enhancing the serene outdoor setting.

Lakeview Lodge - Shortheath Water

HannahRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely lodge, even more spacious than the photos show! Very clean and plenty of amenities for cooking etc. The lake was peacful and very centrally located for things to do in the area such as bike rides, Conkers, furnace museum etc. A good Coop a few mins walk away and bigger supermarkets a short drive. The bistro on site, run by Joanne did the most amazing brunches and HUGE slabs of homemade cake. I wish we had discovered this before our last day! Highly recommend a meal by the lake side. They do beer and wine too but its only open until 4pm so make the most of it during your stay!

Spacious, Modern Bungalow

StephenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a perfect little cottage for our night's stay. We'd actually tried to stay elsewhere and had to leave because it was so bad - this cottage was a breath of fresh air and just what we needed! Bright and spotlessly clean and well-sized. Would definitely stay here again.
