The apartment is a terrace house in Päölä, which was completed in 1939. It's about 13km to the center of Kotka and about 3km to Karhula. The apartment has been renovated into as original as possible and is furnished on a circular economy basis, mainly with Fittings designed by Waves. We wash the textiles with odorless detergents.

Two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room and, if necessary, the possibility of sleeping on extra mattresses for more guests.

We had a very nice stay. Everything is very close by and very easy to reach by walking. The Host was very nice. We would like to come back. :)

A week and a half visit with a friend and dog went well. The place was clean and cozy. The host kindly also helped carry things when we arrived. And it was a nice surprise that the bed was made ready. And nearby great jogging terrains and a place to stay, including maps of nearby attractions.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Veronica’s place. We loved the sauna and the atmosphere in the cottage in candle and moonlight, sitting by the fire. The cottage is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There are other cottages nearby but it felt private and the view of the sea is beautiful. The grounds are rather difficult to get around and of course you have to be prepared for the lack of electricity or running water - but we knew that in advance. Water and firewood were well stocked, which was great. We would love to come back sometime!
