Monthly Rentals in Oslo Municipality

A lovely, cosy flat with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Blindern university campus is just a short walk away, which was super convenient. Getting to the city centre or out into nature (great if you enjoy hiking, like I do) takes a bit longer, but it’s manageable. Overall, excellent value for money—I’d definitely recommend this place to a friend!

This place was amazing! The views from each room were beautiful. It is about a 30 minute drive to the city, which we didn't mind. If you wanted to take the train, the platform is about 100 meters away. My only complaint is the uphill/downhill climb to the house. We had my 90 year old father-in-law with us and he tried to climb the hill the first day. 2 out of 5 of us were fine climbing up. 3 had to rest halfway. By the time we got to the train platform, my father-in-law was completely out of breath. It was so difficult for us that we ended up renting a car. And just to clarify, I walk 7 miles 5 days a week and that hill was hard for me too. Other than that, if I ever come back to Oslo without my father-in-law, I definitely would stay at Tom's place again. He was a great host! Communication was spot on before we booked and during our stay. I do highly recommend Tom's place!

Very convenient location in the city center, just a 10-15 minute walk to the direct train to the airport. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, and plenty of good-quality dishes. There’s a nice 55" Samsung TV and a decent Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker. The host is friendly and welcoming

The apartment is very comfortable and in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the central train station and the main bus terminal.
