We had a lovely stay. The house has a modern look, the interior is beautiful, and it’s spacious yet has a cozy feel to it. The location was perfect for us as most attractions in Oslo are about a 15 min drive but also accessible by foot, and public transit. Erik and his family were fast to respond if we had any questions and the house is well equipped. The yard has a nice patio and perfect to relax in. A cosy and beautiful home located close to train station and buses with easy access to the centre. Oliver was very responsive and was very quick to respond to our needs. We asked about heating for one of the rooms and he immediately provided us with a portable heater and also sent someone immediately to fix the clogged shower. We highly recommend this home.

Lise was very hospitable and communicative. We had a great stay and sincerely appreciate her providing her space to us.

I was wondering if it would be inconvenient to stay here. I was very happy to choose this house. It is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It can be reached within 5 minutes of walking near the house. It is a 24-hour shuttle bus. There is no problem catching the plane and trains. The host provided transportation information very considerate, and I can see that I am very knowledgeable. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Great house with beautiful views of the Oslo fjord, just like the photos. Beds were comfortable. Close to the city center, 15 mins by bus. Short but steep hill from the bus station to the house, might be difficult for seniors or with a stroller. We had a great time!

Frode and Vidar's house is a real gem, conveniently located just a short ferry ride from the center of Oslo, offering breathtaking views of the majestic Fjord. It's a dream setting for anyone who wants to get away while staying close to the city. The interior of the house is perfectly equipped, with all the comforts necessary for a pleasant stay. In addition, the proximity to shops and public transport makes it as convenient as it is charming. One of the most magical moments of our stay was to be able to admire the Northern Lights right from the living room – an unforgettable sight and a rare privilege. I highly recommend this home for a unique experience in Norway.

Beautiful home. 2 minute walk to a small beach. Neighborhood setting - very quiet and relaxing. 15 min from downtown Oslo. Great for large parties (we had 11 adults). Excellent hostess. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

A lovely older home, newly renovated with up-to-date modern style and amenities. Lovely gathering spaces in living, dining, kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces. Bedrooms had room darkening shades which are important in June. Great location for tourists visiting Oslo, short distance to bus and tram systems that can take you most wherever you want to go. A great variety of restaurants in the area. Our group of adults was in town for a family wedding and some sight-seeing, so we never cooked in the kitchen and instead we ate lunch and dinner out and about every day. This home is also well suited to families with kids. Christian, our host, was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions.

An exceptional home in a very special place. We had a magical time here. We have small children whom adored the short stroll to the idyllic beach, and playing in the cute playground. The summer ferry into the city from Fornebu was so charming, and such a greatway to see the city. Knut and his family have created a very special space & it felt like a real home. Knut was a wonderful host, & nothing was a problem. We really hope to stay in this amazing house again.

We were with seven friends for five days with Jonas and his family. In particular, we would like to highlight the location and the great views. If you want some peace and quiet but still want to see something of Oslo, it is just perfect. Go swimming in the morning, and then take the ferry 20 minutes directly to the center of Oslo. What a wonderful place to stay. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated with everything a family could need on their holiday. The location was perfect for Oslo city centre and Skimore for a day or two skiing. Cannot recommend this place more highly. We will definitely be back!

This house was perfect for our small family. It’s very well lived in, all the necessary kitchen utensil’s etc. A trampoline outside! The neighbourhood is very nice too, we went for many walks and runs. The house is also across from the tram line which was perfect. We will be back again! 😍

We had a lovely stay at this stunningly beautiful home. It feels lived in but in a very good way. The kitchen is spectacular and the decorations are lovely. We also loved the neighborhood – we could walk everywhere from this home and yet we felt like we were in a quiet and secluded place with the park across the street.

Beautiful home! If you are traveling with kids this is the place to stay. The pool was a definite plus and the home was comfortable and relaxing. The house is in a quiet area and is very peaceful.

Beautiful home in a quiet residential area, yet very close to all amenities, including transport, shops, parks etc. Highly recommended

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

We had a very nice time in Oslo. The house is at the very end of a street, so we could let our children play outside completely reassured. From the kitchen to sleep and children's room, everything was perfectly equipped. There was even a room to play and a cinema screen. The pool was perfect and nice and big. We used it a lot. We could park our car directly on the property. At the supermarket there is a fast charger for our car right away. We will be happy to come back.

Perfect place for a break from the busy everyday life. Wonderful local and amenities. The stay met all the expectations (and more) and we will recommend the villa (and the host) to both known and unknown! The host was available, nice, respectable and communication was quick and good. We were written upon arrival with information about the amenities and recommendations in the local area. We really appreciated this! Check in and check out was easy and efficient. We will be back for sure, 10 out of 10 stays.
