Luxury cottage from 2022 in beautiful surroundings with stunning views, located in a secluded place with incredibly rich wildlife. You can meet hares just outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for small children, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023, it is possible to rent access to the Jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. DKK 1,000 for 1 day, the following days it costs DKK 500 per day.

Bay Cottage

A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. It is possible to drive all the way to Hilmarsstova, locaded 90 meters over all other buildings with the most wonderful views of the surrounding area. On a clear evening you get unobstructed view to the twinkling stars above without disturbing city lighting,

"Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

Charming old style shanty

Visit the lovely Suðuroy and stay in one of the oldest houses in Hvalba. Nature is surrounding you and there are lovely sights and trails on the island. The house is close to the shop, there is a playground, the beach is spectacular. Suits 4 people. All nessesary amenities. Very authentic and top charming. Simple living at its best.
