A true gem in the mountains of Istria! This fantastically renovated house has everything you need and even more. It is fully equipped and comes with all you may ever need during your stay there. The house is actually better than the pictures, especially the outside space which has a garden with a wonderful view to the citadel of Motovun and a very useful outdoor kitchen with a grill. The owners were very nice (as they offered us local products, including very tasty fresh figs) and Sara is a perfect person to speak to, always very helpful and efficient. A must go!

We had a wonderful holiday (and honeymoon!) at Casa Valla. We were so warmly welcomed and it was a such a pleasure to meet Matea, her father, Elvis and her mother. We were made to feel so at home and they even gave us kind and thoughtful honeymoon gifts! ❤️ The property is spotlessly clean, fresh and modern with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The beds are large & very comfortable, the shower was powerful with hot water at all times. We especially loved the spacious pool, barbeque area and the view over the fields to the hills. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 5-10 mins walk to either a large supermarket or up the hill to the old town. There were many walking routes and trails, so if you love walking this is a great spot. However, the thing that made Casa Valla most special for us was the hosts and their warmth, kindness and the real pride they take in their property. We would recommend Casa Valla anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful place ❤️

Branko’s house is unique! The interior is eclectic (hard to come by in Croatia) and Branko styled it beautifully. What a stunning place to wake up to - with views over the hills and beautiful birdsong at sunrise. Branko is a one of a kind host, very generous with practical advice and genuine concern. The flat is in close proximity to nice restaurants , coffee shops and bars but equally comfortable to just chill. My sister and I loved staying here for four days .

The property is very well equipped and really looks as nice as in the photos. All the buildings have been lovingly and high-quality restored. Patrizia's communication is great. Thanks for the awesome stay.

Sandra is a wonderful host — warm and thoughtful. She welcomed us with homemade doughnuts and a bottle of wine, which was such a nice gesture after a long drive. Although she doesn't speak perfect English, communication was easy and pleasant throughout our stay. The house is a beautifully restored old villa, full of charm and very well maintained. Everything was spotless. The location is in a quiet, remote village, surrounded by stunning landscapes. It’s incredibly peaceful, ideal for relaxation. The road to the house is narrow but fully paved, and we had no issues getting there. We truly enjoyed our stay and would warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene escape in nature.

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. I have to say, this is probably the cleanest Airbnb I've every stayed in........sparkling clean! Tatjana was accommodating in every way to insure our comfort. The villa is lovely inside and out, located in a quite, remote village, but centrally located on the peninsula with easy access in every direction........and, there's a great restaurant just a two minute walk away with a terrace for sunset watching, the only one in town, I believe. Loved our stay here! Beast wishes to Tatjana.
