Cabin vacation rentals in Olympic National Forest

Perfect spot for my weekend retreat with my partner. Cozy, beautiful, and serene with so much wildlife to enjoy. Especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while looking up at the trees and listening to the forest sounds. Check in was super easy. Bed is very comfortable. It is a small cabin and the bed loft is in a small space at the top of a ladder, so may not be the best fit for larger folks or those who have mobility issues, but worked great for me and my partner.

My wife and I spent a week at Pinecone Cottage and had the most amazing time. The lake is serene and picturesque and the cabin itself was fantastic. We ended up staying in most days instead of going into town, and loved every single second relaxing in the house. I would absolutely come back the moment I am able as this is a fantastic location for a truly relaxing and peaceful vacation.

If you want a location that gives you the sense of seclusion and provides you with great amenities to relax and unwind, then this is it. With two younger kids the bunk beds on the upper level were perfect and the king bed on the lower level was comfortable. The house was clean and had what you need to make for an easy stay. The hot tub was a hit, and the there are plenty of water craft options to enjoy the lake. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

Extremely nice place with a gorgeous view in a wonderful area. Loved the stove in the kitchen. Super sharp knives, great pots and pans, high end appliances in general. Comfortable beds, easy to turn on fire and heat source, great deck and basically everything you could need to decompress and unwind in a beautiful beach setting. Wonderful shower, great wood furniture and Pendleton blankets.

We had a girls weekend here and we loved this cabin. There is close hiking and outdoor activities and it's close enough to Hoodsport if you need anything. For the size of the cabin the kitchen is well stocked, great appliances. We were able to relax and have a few wonderful meals together. The hot tub was excellent after we took a morning dip in Lake Kokanee. We only wish we had more time here. We had a fantastic stay.

Beautiful house just as described. The porch, hot tub, and water sport amenities were great. Host was very quick to respond and gave very detailed instructions for checking in and out. Thank you for the amazing stay!

We loved our stay at The Hideaway! The property is peaceful and spacious with plenty to do. The hot tub and sauna were perfect after exploring the trails, and the game room was a fun bonus. Claire was a great hosts who made everything easy and welcoming. A great escape in a beautiful setting!

absolutely gorgeous cabin. amazing views and private access to the water was incredible. my girlfriend and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and it couldn't have been better.

The location of this airbnb is so beautiful and peaceful. You are surrounded by forest and awaken to the sounds of birds every morning. It also has a great view of the ocean, and it's a short walk to the beach. The space itself is thoughtfully decorated and very cozy. I loved all the little touches, from the selection of furniture to coffee table books to linens. I've never taken a bath in a tub with a view like this one had, and the outdoor shower was also a highlight. My husband and I loved it so much that we're already thinking of booking it again for a future weekend!

Our family had a wonderful stay here! The location was great for our day trips out around Olympic. Hosts are super responsive and eager to make your stay comfortable. Thank you for the vase so I could enjoy my flowers from the Pike market. My boys loved the tennis court! But what made it the best? Our daily dog visits ❤️ my boys wanted Bandit to come with us on the rest of our roadtrip! Thank you so much for having us!

Our cabin stay was amazing! We loved waking up to beach sunrises and walking along the sand-all right outside our cabin! This home was extremely clean and was fully stocked for all of our needs. Also an amazing location if you are looking for an Olympic Nat. Park base! About 1 hour away from all of the amazing hikes and viewpoints. Harrison was kind and also left us fresh eggs from his chicken coop. Overall, our stay was amazing! Would love to come back again :).

The cabin was so clean and ready for us (2 adults and 2 dogs). Super cabin feel and incredibly comfortable. The weather was great, so we spent some time relaxing in the sun on the porch. The hummingbirds were going to town on the feeder. We heard over 15 different bird species on Merlin, from eagles to hummingbirds., very relaxing. The kitchen was set up nicely for cooking and we loved BBQ. Room for two dog beds in living room and big utility room/bathroom. We were located about halfway between La Push and Forks. We spent time on beaches, hiked in Hoh Rain Forest and found some good food. Loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jim’s cabin! The location was secluded and peaceful but also conveniently close to many landmarks that we wanted to explore: Forks, LaPush Beach, Hoh Rainforest, and Sol Duc Hot Springs. The interior of the cabin was very clean and had comfy, high-quality furniture. We’ll definitely rent from Jim again should our travels bring us back to Washington’s Olympic Peninsula!

Great place for a Father’s Day fishing retreat! We really enjoyed the stay

Susan's cottage is a total gem. Absolutely beautiful setting on a tiny piece of heaven. So well done with many thoughtful surprises throughout (s'mores set up, outdoor shower, dog bowls, woodwork throughout and updated bathroom). I thought the interior might be too kitschy but it was all around perfect for my mother-daughter get-away with dog. There was also a dog fence that could be put up after you pulled in the drive allowing for a fully contained area for your pooch (when the tide is up). The proximity to the water was astonishing with just a few steps to the beach. Check to make sure kayaks are fully functional. At full tide you feel like you're floating on a house boat. Also, since this is a dead end the traffic is minimal. I've stayed on many places on the hood canal and there is always road noise, not in Tahuya. Very peaceful. Slept 10 hour both nights. I can see why people come back. Next time we will try the oysters.

We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Julie and Peter have a wonderful vacation spot with everything we needed. Such a thrill watching and listening to the waves crashing into the shoreline. We would highly recommend their clean and comfortable home, and hope to visit again someday!

We spent much of our time sitting by the fire looking at similar places to purchase on the island! This cabin is surrounded by trees and often visited by deer. We left feeling relaxed and smelling like fire, perfect weekend getaway. Loved it and will be back!

Great experience and would stay again. Very clean and well maintained. Coffee was appreciated as was the first aid kit…..nice attention to detail.

Great spot. Loved the nautical theme. Spectacular views of the Sound. Comfy beds. Decently stocked kitchen. The shower/bathroom was a bit on the small side, but easy to overlook considering all the amazing amenities of the spot. Loved being able to get down to the water! Would highly recommend even though selfishly would prefer to keep it a secret. Have to let go of the things we love ;)

Great location on a small lake with dock access. Cozy cabin with all the essentials and some extra special touches. Provided a pack n play, high chair, and booster seat which was so helpful! The only downside was there was only one bathroom/shower that was located inside of the primary bedroom. Everything was as advertised - would definitely recommend!

Our family had an amazing stay. The location is awesome, private, secluded, and right on lake crescent. Having kayaks available was awesome as well (we overheard folks struggling to secure rentals at the general store/landing up the road). Given that this place effectively the same cost as staying at lake crescent lodge, it presents an amazing value. We actually ended up extending our stay as well. Thanks Genny for being a great host!

This is a lovely little cottage - a truly heavenly experience watching the sunsets each night and being quiet with nature. We loved making dinner on the BBQ and sitting on the couch outside, and the cottage was stocked with tons of amenities that made cooking really easy. The shower is a bit awkward but accessibility could be easily improved with a removable/handheld shower head - overall an amazing stay and we hope to come back!

The place was great, super cozy and great views! The host had laid out muffins, cookies, chocolates, and home-made granola, which we enjoyed. Libby was also very kind and helpful. The cabin is a small outhouse type structure at the backside of the hosts home.
