Would definitely stay here again. Was really a first class space that made our family feel very relaxed.

Deborah was very helpful and quick to respond. She had great suggestions on where and what to visit. The travel magazines she had on her TV stand were extremely helpful. The bed was very soft, which I love, so I slept really well. We loved the touch of having beach chairs available. The only downsides I can think of, are that the shower is very small, and it’s hard to back out of the parking space.

What a darling place to stay. Clean, cozy and smelled delicious. Super easy and convenient to get to everything. I love a soft bed, so I slept quite comfortably.

Our stay was so relaxing. The house is very comfortable and we felt at home right away. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The sauna is absolutely magical and the lake was quiet and peaceful. Check in/out was a breeze. Perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend with zero stress.

The views were amazing and the place was perfect! They’ve thought of everything (beach chairs, extra linens, coffee) and the flowers and birds make the property even more lovely. I stayed with my daughter and there is privacy within the space. The beach is a five minute walk from the house. We will definitely stay again!

Pattie and John were good hosts, and they always responded quickly to our questions and needs. The place is small but quaint and exactly as it looks in the pictures. The beach is beautiful, and is easy to walk to as are several stores, eating establishments, and amusements. Its a beautiful area that is very family friendly. Please note that at the end of the listing it says "active train tracks behind the building". People familiar with "OOB" would know about the trains, but we didn't. So, 20-30 feet behind the condo are the "active" tracks, and active means trains are coming throughout the day and night. When they pass the street crossing they always blow the horn several times in addition to the usual train noises, and it shakes the condo. Our hosts did offer us earplugs and a noise machine to help muffle the sound. Please take note of this if you're a light sleeper or have a baby. Overall we had a great week in "OOB", and John and Pattie's place is a great spot.

Perfect little place for a weekend away near Portland!

Great stay at Matthew’s place for Labor Day weekend with some friends. House is just a few minutes to the pier. Nice and quiet location with a great deck as well. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

The Canopy tree house was a great get away for a couple of days. It’s very private but still a beautiful area. You can walk down to a private dock to enjoy the lake which is very peaceful. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking to escape to the woods for a couple of days.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

David's place was comfy and my toddler loved it. Great family trip. Little scary the first night but it's a peaceful neighborhood and the people are nice. Definitely would recommend and we will definitely be back. Beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay at Steve & Karen’s cottage! There was a last minute cancellation so we were upgraded to the private cottage and it was perfect for what we needed! The cottage was clean and I could tell they paid attention to detail to ensure their guests have the best stay. Highly recommend Steve and Kathy’s place for your next visit to Portland!

We stayed for just one night and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. It was our first time traveling with our dog, and the space was welcoming and pet-friendly, which made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Great communication from the host as well. Would definitely stay again!

My fiancé and I stayed here while we took our engagement photos close by. It is such a cute cottage and we’d definitely love to stay again!

We loved our stay in Durham at this airbnb. The house was clean and very comfortable. All of the amenities helped to make us feel right at home. The outdoor kitchen was organized and neat. It was so peaceful. Brigitte was a fantastic host. One of the few times I have come back from vacation feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated.

We loved our stay at Lydia's! Super cute tiny home, had everything we needed and more. My husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the deers in the woods. The area was beautiful and you could see the lighthouse from the road the property was off of. We would highly recommend a stay!

The cottage is spotless, well-stocked and conveniently located for day trips in any direction. This is our 4th year staying at this lovely cottage for a pre-holidays getaway. We look forward to keeping this annual tradition!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for a one night stay! We were tired and it was perfect for resting. Did not use the hot tub or pool but both looked great! And remember no kitchen but has a microwave, coffee maker and fridge.

We came to Portland to stay for the week, this Airbnb was perfect! Great location! Loved all the amenities! And the place itself was soo cute! We took full use of the hot tub! And also the grill, it was great and easy to use! The bedrooms and space for our dog was amazing! Our pup loved his stay too! (The neighbors dogs are very annoying and barked everytime we were out- but nothing the host has control over!!) The host was so responsive, when we got there I accidentally mistaken the heater for the AC! She got back to me in seconds on what’s what! Was never bothered, and check in and check out was seamless! Thank you for an amazing stay and hospitality for our first trip to Maine! 10/10 recommend! I would definitely come back!

Can’t say enough about this place. My husband and two toddlers had such an amazing time. We loved paddling on the boat and seeing all the different birds. Our daughter caught her first small mouth bass at the lake! The views were stunning, the hot tub was amazing. We absolutely loved the open concept layout. No matter where you stood, you could see the lake. It was so awesome. Everything you need was in the house! Our only wish is that our time there, didn’t have to end! 🩷
