The Ribble Valley View

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lodge was clean and well equipped. In a stunning peaceful location with the excellent Black Bull pub a 2 minute walk away. Food was immense! The only problem we had was checking in. Despite the many emails from Hoseasons not one of them included check in details such as lodge name, no, key code etc (and I have gone through every email with a fine tooth comb). So after trying and failing to contact Hoseasons via phone, message and email for half an hour we were still stuck outside (probably because you’re dealing with automated robots rather than actual people). Fortunately we found the telephone number for the people who actually own the park and they were extremely helpful and we were inside our lodge within 5 minutes. Such a shame because it really is a great place for a few nights away and I feel Hoseasons are letting the owners down. I would definitely stay there again, I just wouldn’t bother trying to communicate with Hoseasons!

From the very beginning of my booking Ribble Valley had been helpful and responding promptly. My family had arrived at the house before my husband and I (we were celebrating his 70th ) and had already said how wonderful it was. It was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. We are a foodie family so it was amazing to find a kitchen with everything ( we couldn’t find a juicer but that was only because we had too many oranges!! ). 2 fridges to fill with our Sainsbury’s delivery and so much crockery and cupboard’s full of glasses which is all often lacking. Meals had been planned by my 3 daughters so all the rest of us needed to do was chill. Boys and grandchildren loved the pool table and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. We did something different every day. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you very much for having us !

Very spacious bungalow in a beautiful, private location. The house felt very homely, with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and smelled lovely on arrival, and my grown up daughters and I spent a very happy week there. The garden space is a great addition, and offered a great opportunity to watch the local birds and bats. We were all sad to leave at the end of the week!

We enjoyed our stay, which we booked for our friend's wedding at Hidden Oaks. Simon welcomed us on arrival and stocked the kitchen for us so we could have a nice breakfast as well, which was a really nice touch. The property was stunning, really nicely furnished, comfortable to sleep in and had everything we needed. It was great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous lodge and host! The lodge is wonderful with amazing views, and is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay! The view is outstanding! A huge thank you to Jane who accommodated our every need and looked after us so well to celebrate a very special birthday!!! You have been so kind and thoughtful helping us celebrate our Mums 90th, making our stay amazing. Another cute little touch is the marshmallows and toasting sticks for the fire pit - unfortunately we couldn’t use this time due to the weather, but hope to in the future! Jane’s communication is excellent and pro active and she is super host! Thanks so much again for everything. Take care xxx
