This was our second stay at Brenda’s place. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle . We especially like the two bedroom so we have our own rooms. The kitchen was well equipped with the cooking pans we needed to fix our meals. It was quiet and peaceful being out in the country. That may not appeal to everyone but give it a try. It was nice to be greeted by the cat. We will return here again, hopefully soon.

It really did feel like Grandma's house with the antiques and the beautiful woodwork in this gorgeous older home. The modern features that have been tastefully done help make it feel very comfortable. Lori was very responsive and accommodating. Her attention to detail was apparent but not at all invasive. The beds were a little harder then what we were used to but not worth complaining about only mentioning cuz it's a review. Would definitely reserve this house again and so happy we were able to enjoy it for Memorial Day weekend.

Quaint, charming, immaculate, adorable little cottage in a residential neighborhood. Loved the screen porch. Grill and outdoor fireplace available but we didn't use them. Lots of bird song in the morning, easy parking, no steps. Hosts were nearby and answered all texts right away. Great value and very comfortable. Amazing shower! Lots of little amenities and personal touches.

an amazing place to sleep, we really didn't eat there but had a nice kitchen, bedrooms, and living area. will be back soon, I would recommend it to family and friends if they want to stay somewhere close to elkader.
