Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Oak Island

Absolutely loved the space. The dock was our favorite thing. We used it from sunrise to sunset. It was great for watching the local wildlife first thing in the morning while enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The short walk to the beach was so convenient. The place was clean and felt very welcoming. We all loved it.

Our family loved Oak Island and this rental was perfect for us. We loved the fenced in backyard, large trees, shade, and quiet neighborhood. Our favorite spot on Oak Island was "the point," which is just a short drive from "Beach Ballin" Paul was very responsive and he let us check in early which was awesome. Highly recommended!

We had a bit of a rough start to our beach trip when our first reservation was unexpectedly cancelled. Thankfully, we found this Airbnb last minute and it truly saved our vacation! The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, which made everything so much smoother. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. It’s also in a perfect location—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. We’re so grateful we found this place and would definitely stay here again!

We love the pink flamingo! This is our second time staying at Cindy‘s home. Great location, spacious house. I truly love that. It’s a home away from home, when you reach for something, it’s almost there in the kitchen. Very equipped to make many meals. Our college age boys and wiener dog had a blast! Tons of games as well! We already booked for our next stay.

This was the second time we stayed at Amanda's place, was another fantastic stay. Clean home in perfect Oak Island location. Can't wait to stay again!

Cozy and spacious home withing walking distance to the beach. Perfect for large gatherings with ample outdoor entertaining space and a beautiful dock. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a great place to stay! Had an amazing time, private but also right next to everything. You can walk to the beach/restaurants. Instructions and check-in was a breeze. Definitely would recommend and will come back again!!

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We felt right at home. This is the first vacation that we could take our pet on. There were additional items for us to use such as bikes, grills and etc. We will be staying again!

We absolutely loved our stay! Lisa is a great host and she made us feel very welcomed! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything you could possibly need during your stay, from various tea flavors to beach chairs. The area is very quiet and beautiful, only a short drive to historic downtown and about 15 minutes to Wrightsville Beach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Wilmington! Very quaint beach house, about three blocks from the beach. It is definitely walkable. There were people out walking dogs, jogging, riding golf carts and even roller blading. The house was great. I have some minor back and neck problems, and for us, the beds were not good. If you have similar issues, a couple of inflatable air mattresses might be a good bring along. Other than the mattresses, I have no complaints. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with all the basic cookware and utensils you need. The location was private, quiet, and pretty clean. There was a little residue on the floor- not like it had not been mopped, but like maybe the mop needed to be rinsed and one more pass made. I dropped something, so I wiped the floor with wet paper towel. I wiped up my food I dropped, and a little dirt as well. 😀 Not a big deal for me, considering proximity to the beach and the amount of sand that probably gets dragged in there. Overall, our stay was wonderful. We want to come back!

We love staying at vintage beach houses that are not your usual cookie-cutter type of places that are so common. I love that this house was built by family. You can feel the love, history, and general good vibes in this house. Laura was very helpful and generous with answering all my questions, which I really appreciated! We loved sitting on the back porch (feels like a treehouse!) and watching the birds in the morning and the sunset over the marsh in the evening. It’s a short and straightforward drive to the beach and a very pleasant do-able walk (just over a mile) if you want to get some extra steps in. Laura has everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon. Beds and furniture were very comfy and we felt right at home at Laura’s place! Thank you, Laura, Brian, and Melissa for a wonderful stay!

I’ve stayed at this resort before in an RV. Staying in the cabin was just as great. We intend to return. Easy access, friendly staff, and overall great guest in the resort. I highly recommend.

I will definitely book again! This place was a hidden gem! The quiet area, the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere was the perfect getaway in Columbus county. I enjoyed fishing, the dock, the back porch and I had a wonderful trip! The host was proactive and friendly! She left great advice and instructions. I slept so peacefully!

Had a peaceful stay 🙂 Didn't have any issues at all. The air conditioners cool off the house nicely, and the stay was very comfortable. I couldn't get the back bedroom TV to do much, but I didn't reach out or try very hard to figure it out... haha.

Such a charming little spot! My kid loved the loft bed and hammocks. Very friendly atmosphere. Very responsive, friendly, and helpful host.

Cozy Cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and nice place. We used the Get Away house as well that was available during our stay. It was the perfect set up. And the fenced in back yard was very nice. We will return in the future for a future stay.
