Monthly Rentals in Nuns Island

Had a great stay at Geraldine's! The location is super convenient to both walk to all of the major sites in town, as well as for using the bus service for local and regional buses. The room itself is very basic, but was comfortable and had what I needed. One comment - which was no problem but was different than what I had expected from the listing - is that this is a guest house and not so much a private home. Nonetheless, it was a great stay. Thank you!

Brilliant Air B&B. It had everything that we needed, towels, shower gels, hair dryer, coffee machine + pods etc. The location was brilliant; that said it was lively enough at night but that was expected given the central location right beside Eyre Square. The host Ruairi was exceptional, very fast at responding to any messages and was very helpful. He also provided a list of recommendations for food/coffee/pubs in the air B&B for us. The air B&B was spotless. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend if anyone is thinking of a trip to Galway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Semple Mill penthouse. The location is ideal—right in the heart of Galway but tucked away enough to feel peaceful, with beautiful views of the canal and easy walking access to everything from the Latin Quarter to farmers markets. The apartment was bright, spacious, and stylishly furnished, and we especially appreciated the indoor parking, and beautiful, secure setting. One of the unexpected highlights was the private gym equipment—perfect for a quick morning workout before heading out to explore. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the space was well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only issues were minor (like the grimy electric tea kettle and the large “private” balcony being accessible to the whole building). Those things didn’t affect our enjoyment but are worth noting for longer stays. Still, highly recommended—this is an excellent base for exploring Galway.
