To cope with the current Covid-19 emergency, we mobilized for the sanitation of the environments and linens, trough a complete protocol. A certification of the treatment will be provided. This is the third and last floor of a tower house from the XV century, completely renovated, in the very centre of Florence, at walking distance from all major attractions. Then, at no more than 10 minutes walk you can get to Piazza Santa Croce and Mercato dei Ciompi are just a couple of minutes walk, Duomo, Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria (together with Palazzo Vecchio), Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti... The area is full of good restaurants, pubs, wine bars, traditional ice cream laboratories, nearby grocery stores, shops in general. At nigh the apartment is quite and the very comfortable mattresses of the bed and the sofa bed, together with screens at the windows or dark thick curtains, will let you enjoy a pleasant sleep. From the windows you can see the typical road downstairs, Santa Croce in the background, and a wide and bright private court over the typical red Florentine roofs. The kitchen is fully equipped, modern and new. Air conditioning will refresh the whole Attic in a few minutes, in case of a warm day. And in case of a cold day, the heating is on to keep warm the area. The bathroom is equipped with a tub that can be used as a shower for pampered thanks to the double water jet: the standard shower and the large shower pan. Guests have access to the whole attic and all the equipment. Wifi internet is available and included in the offer. I will receive you on arrival and will provide information about the city. You can contact me anytime. Walk the beautiful narrow streets to Santa Croce square and tour the gorgeous Basilica di Santa Croce. Other notable landmarks are an easy walk away as well as Florence's exceptional cuisine, charming street cafes, and vibrant nightlife. You will be just great on foot staying at my place, but if you don't like to walk, there are some alternatives. Very nearby there is a bike rental, or you can download the app "Mobike" to use the bikesharing service in Florence. Also nearby Bohémienne Penthouse there are several public bus stops. Using public bus is easy checking the route planner on their site. Just on the other side of Piazza Santa Croce there is a taxi station, where you can get your cab to anywhere in Florence at honest rates. A car is not necessary to enjoy Florence city center, on the opposite it may also turn a small nuisance. We do not provide parking, you can arrange yourself asking to Garage Bargello Via Ghibellina, 170/172/r, 50122 Firenze Another option may be to find a free parking in Via dell'Erta Canina.. 20 minutes walk from my place.. Its centre was formed by a small chapel with an ample garden. If you like panoramic views, the frontside of the chapel will be the place for you! Winter: South Tyrol is a skier's paradise! The Alpe di Siusi can be reached in 10 minutes by car or public transport, other nearby spots are Val Gardena and the Sella Mountains. Skating and sledging can be enjoyed at the idyllic Völser Weiher. Spring Summer: Do not miss the nearby Völser Weiher (bathing lake) and the castle Prösels. Völs is a wonderful area for hiking and mountain biking (Dolomites), for day trips the alpe di Siusi is perfect. According to "Magazin der Süddeutschen Zeitung", one eats particularly well on the Tschafonhütte and the Gostner Schwaige. We can confirm that from experience :-) Autumn: Autumn is the time of harvest and vintage. Völs has some very good "Buschenschänke" and "Völser Kuchenkastl" (Traditional Harvest Specialties) to offer. Hiking and mountain biking in September and October are possible depending on the weather!
