Family-friendly vacation rentals in North Port

A perfect retreat located in the Burnt Store Marina development. We enjoyed a week at this condo which was centrally located between Cape Coral and Punta Gorda. The condo was extremely clean and very well organized. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the little extras, such as an insulated beach bag, and beach towels. Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, and even a small supply of spices as we often eat in while on vacation and it was very nice not to have to buy. As boating people, this is a great neighborhood. Definitely research boat rentals, tours, fishing charters if you’re thinking of fun things to do. The highlight was traveling to Boca Grande beaches (3 times!) which was just stunning. We really enjoyed the pool in the afternoons and going over to the Cass Cay restaurant in the evenings. Bill was very responsive with any questions we had!

Stayed 4 nights at Lisa and Roberts place. Home was clean and had all necessary amenities plus bonus things like spices, cooking oils/sprays and coffee. Not to mention the beach items like ice chest, chairs and umbrellas. We did not utilize, but there were also kayaks and bikes in the garage. Hosts were quick to respond and were always friendly. For example, when we arrived the lockbox was missing and there was no key, but we were still able to enter using the provided garage door code. Within about 20 minutes after notifying them about the lockbox, Robert arrived to replace it. By then we had found the key sitting in a bowl at the kitchen desk, so we were able to place the key in the lockbox upon check out. A/C was nice and cool, hot tub and showers were nice and warm, pool was refreshing. So happy for the screened in Lanai to keep the bugs out of the pool area. The neighborhood and very quiet. My family just spent a week at Turtle Landing and we liked it so much we booked for 2026 before we left. Although we arrived late at night, we were able to find the property easily as it was well marked and lit. The property is spacious and comfortable with a wrap around terrace which is tremendous and adds an additional room for gathering. The pool gets sun nearly all day, so we enjoyed finishing up our trips to the beach with some time around the pool. My niece and I made use of the kayaks, and there is plenty of areas to explore. This was a key attraction for us and a real differentiator when comparing properties. Turtle Landing has it all….beach nearby, kayaks for the bay, and a pool and hot tub! Scott was a lovely host and extremely responsive to inquiries. We did rent a golf cart from Barb and I recommend this as it gives you a chance to really explore the island….and allows you to quickly get to the beach, or the local water hole (Rum Bay) with ease. Chester and Aneta’s place is great! The house is tastefully decorated and we felt right at home. Easy back roads to the beach, the bikes were an added bonus! The host was very attentive and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely come back!

This is our second time staying here and we love it!! My kids loved the pool, stayed in there all day. Big enough for our party of 8 plus a baby

What a beautiful place to stay! It was so comfortable and quiet. The pool and Jacuzzi were awesome! We were 10 minutes from anything we needed. Great location and pleasant owners. They quickly responded to any of our questions. Would definitely reserve again.

This is the second year in a row that our family stayed here for Christmas break. It's spacious for all of us with 2 young boys. My son loves the fishing in the canal and we all love relaxing on the lanai while the kids swim. It is the warmest pool we have ever had for swimming. We had an amazing stay during March 2025, with sunny weather every day. Doug and Moe were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The accommodations were clean and quiet. Perfect location. Highly recommend for a memorable experience. We had our kids and grandkids stay with us for a week and the home was able to accommodate all of us for a wonderful spring vacation. Will be back to stay again in the future.

Very niece location with easy walk to great restaurants. This home was private and well taken care of. Very kind hosts who were accommodating. Loved the private patio area.

The Duplex was very, very clean. The Charging Station located on the leather sofa was a wonderful extra benefit! Doris was quick to respond to the beeping smoke alarm at the time we checked into the Duplex. Another unexpected plus included the LED lighting on the King Bed headboard! The duplex is on a quiet street but also quick & easy access to a main highway. We were very pleased with our stay and will consider staying here next time.

Great location with lovely views. Home is very comfortable and super clean with perfect location with all the amenities you need. The host is very kind and she has excellent communication.

We spend two happy and relaxed weeks in Angelika‘s house. The location is perfectly located among nature, parks, beaches and great shopping opportunities though a own car is highly recommended. Thank you Angelika! Dita & Franz, Switzerland

Had a great time at Michael’s little bungalow… Small, but definitely enough for my wife and I. Beach is a 2 minute walk down a tiny road directly across the street, perfect! I met Mike just after checking in because we had a little snag with the room… He came right by and remedied the issue. Great guy, great area, and nice quiet place to stay… Do not hesitate, a great Airbnb’r!

Our visit at Adam and Mirka’s place was great; quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors and walkable with almost no traffic. Their house was very clean and well taken care of. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grill was perfect for a BBQ. When I sent questions, Mirka was very quick in her response. Our dogs loved ‘hunting’ for the lizards in the fenced back yard and kept Augi busy for long periods of time. No worries though, he never caught one. The surrounding area is wonderful for taking bike rides. My husband ‘found’ and ‘created’ many excursions for us to take that usually amounted to 13-15 miles - just perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. We would definitely like to rent Adam and Mirka’s place again if/when we vacation in Venus, FL again. We had a wonderful time!

Great host! Very communicative. Wonderful, easy going condo. We enjoyed losing track of time while sitting on the screened-in porch watching the bay/waterfront.

This is an incredible house. The location is perfect and private. We had our little pug with us and it was exactly what we needed. The pool is warm and clean and very enjoyable as the sun goes down. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen well appointed. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and this is one of the best. If you’re looking for a rental just book this one. You won’t be disappointed.

The tropical villas were a great place to stay! Very cozy, clean and my favorite part was how accessible it was to everything. They had bikes for us to use which was amazing, we rode them to the beach each day and then to the town for lunch and dinners and shopping. We also made good use of the beach supplies in the closet. The sand sifter helped us find the most amazing shells and shark teeth! We want to come back here asap, loved it here.

We felt at home, the place was warm and cozy. The instructions were all laid out about everything. The kitchen had everything! We spent most of our time in the pool. It was a great vacation. Pam did an awesome job in communicating and was very responsive. Highly recommend, we would stay again if we have family in town!! Kudos to Pamela and George for extra linens for all the beds, lots of bath towels and everything you need to go to the beach, including towels!

This home was perfect. It was very clean, and had lots of room for our family to spread out. We had both of my kids on virtual school, I had a few zoom calls for work and we took our breaks in the pool! We never ate indoors. The lanai was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the bathtub was relaxing! Loved every minute in this house while visiting family.

We are snowbirds who stayed two months. Place is exactly as described. Clean and very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, bed comfortable and location perfect. A very quiet neighborhood with very nice neighbors. Host and property manager were both always very responsive when I contacted either of them. The pool was lovely and maintained well. I would definitely stay again if we come back to this area.
