Perfect stay!

Excelente estadia. Uma quinta com um magnífico e muito bem cuidado espaço exterior. Um anfitrião, Sr. Rui que se esforça para que a nossa estadia seja o mais graticante possvel. A Sónia que tudo faz para que nos sintamos em casa, que nos prepara excelentes e variados pequenos almoços. O Alpha que brincou com a nossa Leia. Quinta bem localizada para passear pelo Gerês e excelente para descansar e carregar baterias. Local a regressar.

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! Nuno’s place exceeded our expectations. It has a beautiful balcony with a view over the Douro river. The pool area is peaceful and breakfast provided was an added bonus. Nuno was very helpful and provided us with great recommendations for wine tasting and spots to visit. The apartment is spacious, clean and has a small kitchen which we were able to use to cook in the evenings.

Appartement spacieux, propre, il ne manque rien. Comme à la maison. Hôtes très accueillants, serviables, sympathiques. Dans petit village calme, non loin du Douro, et à 20 mn de Porto en voiture.

Fui muito bem recebido em Oia. A casa é ótima, com uma vista incrível. passei horas olhando o mar. Cozinhei minha comida, lavei minha roupa e tive total privacidade. Sandra me buscou gentilmente no mosteiro. Recomendo!

This is a very special find on Air BnB. In a private location, very well equipped, extremely clean, modern, comfortable and pet friendly. Tiago and his family went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I was there during the electricity blackout of Spain and Portugal and they even though to bring me a torch! I highly recommend this property, I’ll be back!!

Fernando stond altijd voor ons klaar, maar liet ons ook heel prive, het huis was fijn, slaapkamers prima, en een hele fijne tuin. in de ochtend waren er verse broodjes, en het huis was goed voorzien. Wij voelden ons heel welkom en hadden een goede week.

Muy limpio, confortable y cuidado con mucho detalle. Cerca del centro de Allariz. Recomendable para estar con niños.

Todo perfecto!! El apartamento es precioso, lo tiene muy bonito decorado, muy limpio y con unas vistas maravillosas. Ella es super atenta y amable , esta en todo y si tienes cualquier duda o necesidad no tarda en contestarte. Si puedo regresar por la zona, sin duda repetire en este alojamiento

This accommodation is in a central position and has everything you need for a stay in Porto. It is 10 minutes from the train station that brings you from the airport and all the local attractions are within an easy reach. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The host also stored our cases after check-out on the final day. I would definitely stay again!

So happy we stumbled on this place! The hosts were so sweet and showed us the best spots. The location was amazing and it was perfect for 4 of us. I would love to be able to stay here again!

Dino and Inès's place is stunning - very stylish and comfortable. The apartment has everything you could wish for! I was greeted at the place by Dino who gave me a wealth of useful suggestions of what to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again if available when I return to Porto.

완벽한 숙소였습니다. 특히 강변 바로 앞쪽에 위치해 있어 뷰가 환상적이고 이동이 편리했습니다. 숙소 앞쪽에 지나다니는 사람이 많아 밖은 조금 어수선하나, 방 내부의 방음은 우수합니다. 그 외 숙소 내부의 조명이 밝아서 좋았습니다. 화장실의 구조와 거울 등 전반적인 가구의 배치가 지내기에 매우 편리했고, 에어컨은 시원했습니다. 호스트도 매우 친절했습니다. 👍 원한다면 매일 하우스 키핑도 가능합니다. 샤워기와 세면대의 수압이 조금 약하긴 했지만 이를 상쇄하고도 남을 장점이 가득한 숙소였고, 다른 여행객들에게도 매우 추천합니다.

Ana was a great host, the apartment was fully stocked and had so many special additions, like meat, cheese, and bread, fruit, eggs, and other breakfast foods in the pantry. Fresh bread on the door in the morning!! Wine in the refrigerator😃 Pinhao is great to explore and be a homebase. It was wonderful to relax on the balcony and play cards in the living room after a long day of fun.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this apartment and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Porto. The great experience started with the hosts, Jean and his wife Luz, who clearly are passionate about Porto and their apartment and take truly want to provide you with the best experience possible. Jean was very accessible and responsive, and provided great recommendations for restaurants and itinerary, and followed up to make certain the restaurants he recommended provided the experience he expected. The apartment was very clean, well thought out, and provided everything we needed. It was a a pleasure to come home after a long day exploring Porto. It is even better than depicted in photos. We especially appreciated the many electrical outlets accessible for charging your phone and other electrical devises throughout the apartment. Also, the location is great. Close enough to be walkable to everything you want, but removed enough to be peaceful upon your return.

Passei dois dias magníficos com a minha família à Casa dos Vinhais. O anfitrião, o José, é muito simpático, atento e prestável e fomos optimamente recebidos por ele. A casa é realmente especial com os móveis e louças antigas da família com a sala muito agradável e os quartos muito queridos. Aqui sente-se e respira-se a história. A vista da casa para o rio Douro é linda e nós não pudemos aproveitar para banhar no rio mas, nos meses mais quentes, daria para aproveitar bem o exterior. Podemos pedir para fazer o jantar lá em casa e o bacalhau com natas e a alheira preparado pelo José e Graça foi divinal. Para além disso, o pequeno-almoco está incluído na estadia e é mesmo delicioso! Espero voltar de novo aqui a esta casa. Obrigada por tudo!

Quinta da Xandica, located just outside of Valença do Douro village, was a fantastic, and unique experience. It’s rare these days to find an Airbnb hosted by a “real” (boots on the ground) host who is not only there to share local knowledge and accommodates your needs, but literally who also welcomes you in to the ACTUAL family home. It reminded me of a traditional bed and breakfast, in all of the best ways. (Including a lovely breakfast in a dining room!!!) The Quinta was home to Matilde”s great grandfather, and is shared today with her grandmother and father (three generations). It’s a working farm, and an all around charming, beautiful place. Even during our unseasonably rainy visit, the grounds and area was stunning. Practically speaking, the bed was comfortable & the water hot. Dinner made by Matilde was a reasonably priced and delicious with estate wine. We also thoroughly interaction with other guests, the chipped dog, “Bill”, and access to the surrounding area. A treasure!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Marta super gefallen. Sie war stets zur Stelle wenn man etwas gebraucht hat oder eine Frage hatte und war immer freundlich. Das Zimmer und die Küche sind wie beschrieben eigentlich echt schwer in Ordnung, allerdings sehen die Bilder ein bisschen anders aus als in der Realität. Man kann sich in der Küche auch ein bisschen Cornflakes oder Brot zum Frühstück machen, aber in der Innenstadt Portos lässt es sich natürlich ein wenig besser brunchen. Nichtsdestotrotz haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können auch nichts an dem Apartment kritisieren. Drei gelungene Tage für uns.

Our stay at Quinta Dos Carqueijais was a perfect 10/10! We chose the Villa das Oliveiras, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. It truly feels like you're immersed in the forest with beautiful views of the lake. The entire property is seamlessly integrated with nature, creating an idyllic setting for complete disconnection. The accommodation itself is stunning, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable—far better than what you might expect from the photos. The breakfast is plentiful, with great attention to detail. Additionally, we had the chance to enjoy the spa facilities, which include a jacuzzi, sauna, massages, and a heated indoor pool, all at a very competitive rate. Quinta Dos Carqueijais is the perfect place to unwind for a weekend getaway or to celebrate a special occasion near the Peneda-Gerês National Park

A really lovely room just like the photos. The family were all very welcoming and helpful. They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and looked after our bags on our last day .We had a fantastic meal one evening in their restaurant, not to be missed . The only down side was it’s a reasonable walk to the old town of Porto but if you don’t mind that it’s a lovely place to stay

Lugar da Pedra Altra is a very special place, the host were very helpful and we had a very memorable holiday. We stayed there as a group of eight, two families and we had enough space, and the breakfast that they supplied was very enjoyable. We would look to visit again in the future

Amazing 400 year old home, has always been in the family. The outside garden and pool are beautiful and peaceful. Small town near by with good quaint restaurants . About one hour from Douro Valley by a beautiful drive through back country roads. Highly recommend it

prachtig huis in landelijke en rustige buurt van Aveiro, grenzend aan een natuurgebied. Er zijn goede fietsen beschikbaar waarmee de stad en het natuurgebied uitstekend te bereiken zijn. Ana en Francisco zijn vriendelijk en behupzaam met tips over de regio.
