The place is very idyllic, just as you imagine it in Sweden. The cottage is very nice and cozy. We felt right at home. We were greeted with delicious cinnamon rolls. Those were the best we've ever eaten. We would recommend the stay to everyone and come back ourselves.

A lovely apartment in lovely and quiet surroundings. Short walk to a large lake with jetty. By car, there are plenty of opportunities for great excursions. Also a great starting point for biking and hiking. Although the apartment is part of Judith's big house, it is very private. There's everything you need and it's kept well and clean. Can only recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay! Åshild and her husband are incredibly warm, open, and thoughtful people. Their place is full of charm and has been created with so much love and attention to detail – you immediately feel at home. Everything you need for a few peaceful days in nature is there: a cozy space to relax, a small kitchen area where you can easily prepare simple meals, and even the outdoor toilet was super clean and well-maintained. Everything felt welcoming, comfortable, and well thought out. As a bonus, we were lucky to be there while the ducks and chickens had babies – it was absolutely adorable to watch them wander around. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. Åshild and her husband have created a truly special place, and we’re really happy we got to experience it. We didn’t want to leave and would love to come back! I think the next time we would choose their Viking cabin though. It is a work of art with so many interesting details!
