A getaway in the forest, with a short distance from the city. No road to the house, but approx. 40 min. on foot or on skis from the gate. The barrier is reached by car or public transport. Enjoy a stay with recreation and rest, away from a busy everyday life. A simple cabin with wood burning stove, outdoor toilet and drinking water on the tap, with Wi-Fi and electricity from solar cells. The area offers beautiful pine forest and miles of hiking trails. Feel the pulse rise in the counter hills - or slow down and just let your mind with fire on the fire pit on the deck.

Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.
