We had some wonderful days at the cabin. Fantastic place. We enjoyed both fishing, barbecuing, swimming in the pond and the lake, and testing a brand new sauna. Short distance to Kalvåg and Knutholmen. Very nice hosts who made sure we had the best possible stay. Would highly recommend! This is truly a hidden gem. We would gladly came again.

Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Special mention to the toilet in a small independent cabin with stunning views of the fjord:) The hosts are welcoming, kind and available! Best place to stay on our trip!

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

Cute, cozy cabin right on a gorgeous lake with a million dollar view. I know it's cliché but, the pictures absolutely do not do justice to what the view is actually like. Just perfect! The cabin is far enough from town to feel remote but close enough to town to take care of any grocery or dining needs.

Great, private accommodation where you immediately feel at home. Good starting point for many excursions - the local mountain Melshornet is really highly recommended and can be reached directly from the cottage. Siw and Bottolf are super friendly and helpful. Maximum privacy.

We had a fantastic stay at Oddvar’s beautiful cabin; it had everything we needed and we really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. The views from the hot tub and garden are incredible and very peaceful/private. The cabin was clean, tidy and felt very homely. We would certainly come back and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the local area, or explore further afield from such a lovely base home. Oddvar is a great host, good communication, responsive and friendly. 10/10 🙌🏻 Thank you!

An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. Very cozy and well-equipped apartment. An absolute dream. 😍 The area where the house is located and the house itself is actually so much more impressive than in the photos. Beautiful. 🤩 Perfectly clean - such a clean space is rarely seen. Everything you need for a short or longer stay is there. Very private and peaceful setting. Friendly landlord who provided great information in advance. 😊 Absolutely recommended.

Loved my stay at this accommodation, beautiful surroundings and was so relaxing. House felt like such a home and we were provided so many great recommendations for what to do during our stay. The host was very helpful and friendly, and she would always reply within minutes to any queries we had.

My husband and I have had the most wonderful trip to the absolutely amazing cabin <3, we also ended up extending our stay because it was so beautiful, so 6 amazing days, we will definitely come back :) Everything was perfect. What an incredibly beautiful place to stay. This cabin is so beautifully decorated / styled. There are so many lovely touches throughout. It makes you feel incredibly cosy. I found the bed really comfy. Marianne provided great instructions on how to get there (note there is a short walk and when raining your shoes can get wet - access to the shoe dryer was great). Marianne was great to communicate with. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quaint, beautiful and cosy stay.

We had a wonderful experience at this house near the lake. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled in the mountains and surrounded by lush greenery. It’s the perfect peaceful getaway if you love nature and scenic views. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. We loved staying at the cabin and enjoying some downtime among the trees. The cabin was well designed with everything we needed. It is on a private road so 100% private. Ellen was super friendly and helpful. I hope to come back one day!

‏This is place is a heaven on the earth. By far the best airbnb I have ever Stayed in. ‏The host was exceptional meet, greet and gave brief about everything. ‏The home is satiated on the lake, got all what you need. The kichen is fully equipped. The bathroom got underfloor heating. The living room has an amzing view of the mountains and the lake. ‏We loved grilling outside peaceful and wonderful views.

Quiet location on the lake and yet quickly in the next town for shopping or restaurant visits. We spent 2 nights there and got along well without a shower. The living room with the wood stove is especially cozy!

Jan-Oskar welcomed us very warmly to his mountain chalet. The place is ideal for exploring the area and enjoying the activities of the area (hiking, skiing, etc.). The chalet is large and modern. Loved our stay. Jan-Oskar is caring and he advised us very well on activities to see and do. Thanks for your hospitality!

It is a beautiful apartment, lovingly and tastefully decorated. The view of the fjord is great. We highly recommend the apartment.

We loved waking up to the stunning view of the fjord and mountains every morning. It wasn't too far to drive from Stryn for supplies but felt secluded and private. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Ivar was very friendly and greeted us on arrival.
