Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

The house is amazing, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are high-end. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real treat for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any question, help, and recommendation at an exceptional level.

Wonderful stay in a pleasant and very quiet holiday park near Ruinen. Great place to take beautiful walks and bike rides. An address to rest well and recharge completely, partly thanks to the singing of various birds that we have heard. House is bright and spacious and equipped with every comfort. We'd love to come back!

We were with a group of friends of 10 people and had a lovely stay in the AirBnB of Aleida and Rick. It had plenty of space, plenty of showers and toilets and each room had its own sink. The space was large and yet homey. Highly recommended if you want to explore Friesland with a group! Very nice host too, smooth contact and very nice thinking along. Despite the changeable weather, we really had a great weekend here!

What a fantastically beautiful place. Wonderful in nature, beautiful blooming garden and tranquility everywhere. Welcoming, full of comforts, fresh flowers in the rooms, distilled water, really everything was there. Should even stay a little longer. In short, fantastic!

Suze-An is very friendly, and has a nice chat when you feel like it. The cottage itself has a very spacious living room. Everything you need during your vacation is present, including super good wifi, toilet paper, towels, garbage bags, hand soap, salt etc. The showpiece is the huge garden, with lovely grass to lie in, a trampoline, a sandpit, and a nest swing. And animal friends also come to their liking: cats, dog, sheep, chickens, horses and deer.

This holiday home was absolutely wonderful – tucked away in the greenery, right in the middle of the forest. So quiet and peaceful! We loved falling asleep to the gentle sound of rain on the roof and waking up to birdsong. At the same time, we were lucky to have plenty of sunny days too, which we spent having breakfast outside and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Despite being in a bungalow park, the house offers great privacy in the garden. The park itself is lovely – surrounded by stunning woods and a perfect area to unwind. The house is cozy, tastefully decorated, and simply made for relaxation. We truly enjoyed our time here – and so did our dog and our toddler. A perfect getaway to slow down and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended!

Thank you very much Jolanda for your hospitality, it was very nice to be in the cabin, everything was enough, everything was provided, the only thing is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot at check-in, but since we planned to walk during the day and get home in the evening, it did not frighten us, since in the morning and evening we felt great. The hostess gave great recommendations for nearby interesting places, which we took advantage of, thank you for this separately! We also visited the village of Giethoorn, it is amazing and not far at all. Overall, the vacation was wonderful, we recommend it.

It was an unforgettable and carefree vacation. The children felt very comfortable from the beginning, and we were able to completely switch off in the four days and simply forget the time. Wendy and Peter went to an incredible amount of trouble. You can feel how much heart they put into it. The children were able to play carefree while we enjoyed the time together to the fullest. The weather was mixed, but that didn't dampen the mood. The short rain showers were quickly over, and there was always enough time for beautiful experiences outside. The community with the other guests was also very pleasant, open, warm and uncomplicated. Mom's highlight: fondue and her own garden The highlight of Papa: hot tub and your own grill The highlight for the children: the playground and the fresh eggs in the morning We will definitely be back!

The chalet is great and very new. All cooking utensils were also available in the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and also the campsite was perfect for us (with a 5-year-old child). The communication with Dirk was super nice and straightforward. We would love to come back!

Spacious and beautiful accommodation in a beautiful place. Welcomingly welcomed with some treats. We enjoyed the space, the animals, the trampolines and all (play)amenities. Nice to taste the atmosphere of farm life for a while. Unfortunately, you can only stay one night; the children wanted to stay there or at least stay longer. ;) Would be happy to come back.

Cottage booked for an overnight stay after visiting Winterdroom Orchideënhoeve. A very welcome upon arrival. Wood-burning stove was already created and after clear instructions we knew how to keep the space wonderfully warm. The available electric heaters didn't really need it. The cottage is simple. Basic equipped. However, equipped with a fine bed with very good mattress and fresh bedding. Lovely sleep. Owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone who is not demanding and is looking for a quiet place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Annemarie’s place. She is very kind and attentive. The views are lovely and the area is quite and calm, perfect for a few days of disconnection. Great also to go if you have a dog. The proximity with the animals is also very nice. Definitely a place to come back to!😊

The place was perfect, even better than expected. A beautiful place, perfect even for small children, because there is a swing right in front of the sheep meadow. The furnishings have been completed with a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was extremely delicious. Contact with Annemarie was also quick, very friendly and uncomplicated. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an idyllic glamping feeling.

Beautiful location and beautiful cottage incl. sloop. The instructions and contact with Siem were super and we felt completely at home. Recommended, the restaurant on the corner! Delicious food!
