We had a wonderful stay at Nienke and Richard’s place. Perfect if you are travelling with children, lots of toys, and a playground literally across the street. Walking distance to a grocery store and in a great location to walk around and explore. Richard and Nienke were very responsive and accommodating. Only thing to mention is that the crib is a travel crib (pack n play type thing) and not a real crib as in the photos. Still, we loved our time there!

Ahmed was a very friendly host, extremely helpful and accommodating. In his house you can just feel comfortable. Everything is very clean and tidy. You have everything you need and find it quickly. The decor is very tasteful with a lot of love for small details. We will be happy to come back to Ahmed's.

Magnificent house, beautiful decorations, very peaceful garden. Everything was very clean and made to feel at home. We never tire of the view of the lake, especially in the morning when we wake up. The hosts are very responsive and provide plenty of good addresses. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

Super cozy, quiet and very relaxed townhouse. The name says it all! We felt immediately comfortable and were even allowed to serve ourselves in the garden. We lacked nothing, not even in the kitchen. The bed is insanely comfortable and we slept great. Parking right on the street and the center nearby. Paulien was super friendly and sweet and gave us many tips right away. We were even allowed to safely store our bicycles. It's not self-evident. Thanks, we'll be happy to come back!

The location of the cottage is amazing! Peaceful and quiet in the woods! We even saw a baby deer from our window. Everything was perfect. Would love to visit again

Located in a vacation home complex, which is generally very quiet and relaxing. The house is very efficiently used with 3 bedrooms and is very well equipped. The location is phenomenal! Direct lake access on one side and fantastic nature on the other. There is only one point that could be improved. Check-in was only possible between 4 PM and 5 PM. There must be no traffic jam etc. on the way, because the reception is then also closed. Improvement: Barbecuing is only allowed with gas - either each house should have a gas barbecue or there should be some kind of gathering place where you can book slots for barbecuing.

Suze-An is very friendly, and has a nice chat when you feel like it. The cottage itself has a very spacious living room. Everything you need during your vacation is present, including super good wifi, toilet paper, towels, garbage bags, hand soap, salt etc. The showpiece is the huge garden, with lovely grass to lie in, a trampoline, a sandpit, and a nest swing. And animal friends also come to their liking: cats, dog, sheep, chickens, horses and deer.

The mini house is very cute. We felt comfortable. A suggestion would be a shelf (possibly next to the kitchen window) where you can leave your food. Due to the low season, it is of course very quiet. The minimarket and restaurant were closed, you have to keep that in mind. Ideal for a break.

It was an unforgettable and carefree vacation. The children felt very comfortable from the beginning, and we were able to completely switch off in the four days and simply forget the time. Wendy and Peter went to an incredible amount of trouble. You can feel how much heart they put into it. The children were able to play carefree while we enjoyed the time together to the fullest. The weather was mixed, but that didn't dampen the mood. The short rain showers were quickly over, and there was always enough time for beautiful experiences outside. The community with the other guests was also very pleasant, open, warm and uncomplicated. Mom's highlight: fondue and her own garden The highlight of Papa: hot tub and your own grill The highlight for the children: the playground and the fresh eggs in the morning We will definitely be back!

Nice nature, clean place.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly as described, very lovingly decorated and very well equipped! In particular, the outdoor area invites you to linger and offers the best conditions for beautiful summer evenings with an outdoor kitchen (barbecue) and many seating options. We also used the fire bowl! But the interior also offers plenty of space to stay here with a large group and is generously equipped with the open kitchen, two seating areas/sofas and a large table. In addition, the separation between the living area (downstairs) and bedrooms (upstairs) offers the possibility of meeting different sleeping times (e.g. with children). Communication worked great and fast. Overall, the accommodation is highly recommended!!

Had a wonderful week; cozy cottage and beautiful surroundings!

Staying at Sharons cottage has been an absolute delight, not just because of the beautiful surroundings but also because of the care and thoughtfulness that have gone into it. The cozy atmosphere, the attention to detail, and all the small touches made our stay memorable. The Communication was always very quick and easy, we enjoyed our stay and will the City cottage recommend to Family and Friends.

What a great stay I had! Kelly and Pieter are very friendly and had a few more good hiking trails and tips for eating. Also slept wonderfully. Will definitely be back next year!

We had a perfect stay. Richard welcomes us with great enthusiasm and a wonderful little dog who also comes to give you a festive welcome 🥰 Regarding the environment, it was simply beautiful, whether around (lake, beach, promenade, nice little village) or the land around the cottage. There's no better place to recharge your batteries in nature in an exceptional setting. (A small boat is available for the more adventurous;) ) As far as the accommodation is concerned, there was nothing to say about the cleanliness, faithful to the photos except that we expected to have two separate bedrooms. There were indeed two large beds, however one of them would be on the mezzanine (so open room). Other than that, we loved our stay and will be back! Don't hesitate if you need a short stay in nature (only 40 minutes from Amsterdam)

the apartment was great and in great condition, extremely nice neighborhood but it is an uber/bolt or train ride away, now if you choose the ride app option be aware you will be spending about 30-70 euros each way for the 30-40 minute drive. i think the neighborhood was lovely, everything does close early in town (around 6-7) but if you can get into the shops or restaurants the area is great and friendly.

Very comfortable tiny home with everything you need!. Location is great with a lot to see in walking distance. Check in and out instructions were very clear and easy. We highly recommend this place!

The cabin was incredibly peaceful, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the city for a relaxing weekend. It’s an ideal spot for reading a book and enjoying walks in the surrounding area. If you don’t have a bike or a car, be sure to pack some groceries before arriving, as the closest supermarket is a 30-minute walk away. The projector and record player added a nice touch to the experience.

Dirk and his Wife were there to Welcome us upon our arrival and recommended lovely places for us to buy local cheese and have Dinner. The town is so beautiful and perfect for relaxation and the Location is near all amneties (groceries, shops, Center of the Village with cafés and a Saturday Market!). It's very walkable and cyclable and most Restaurants we're dog-friendly. The Cottage House was modern and equiped of a full kitchen and a cute terrace at the back with an Outdoor Fireplace that we used every night for romantic Moments. It was decorated with taste all whilst representing hygge. We really enjoyed our prolonged weekend in Huizen!! Thank you for having us!
