This amazing family home is located on the beautiful estate 'Heerlijkheid De Eese'. A vast nature reserve on the border of Drenthe, Friesland and Overijssel. From the platforms you jump into the water, or you sail away with the supboard or the rowing boat! From the large kitchen you look over the water. With a staircase down you enter the living room where it is wonderful to live and you are on the ground floor with the water. A level below are the bathroom and bedrooms and you stand "eye to eye" with the water.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!
