Themed with the rich history of how Defiance came to be through General Anthony Wayne's defiance of the "English, Indians and all the Demons of Hell" shortly after the Revolutionary War.

The Granary is a unique and spacious home. Set on a small farm, it was converted from barn to cottage in the late 1990's. Pets are allowed (for fee) and our dog and cats may stop by to visit. Great for families visiting home, or looking for a place to get away. Great for travelers visiting the Gilboa Quarry. No parties or events per AirBNB policy. **IMPORTANT: 1 queen size bed on the first floor The other beds are open lofts visible to each other and accessible by very STEEP stairs.

Barn On Nye Manor wedding venue is just 1 1/2 miles down the road so this is a great spot for wedding guests to gather. Your stay includes great sunrises and the sound of a distant rooster on the large front porch. Enjoy 2 acres of open yard for fun family games and later enjoy marshmallows around the fire pit.
